Give Every Entrant a Referral Link That Earns Them Bonus Entries

The moment someone enters your Discord giveaway, they get a personal referral link worth bonus entries for every friend who enters through it. Your entrants do the promoting, and every friend they invite lands in your server.

The referral system turns every entrant into a promoter of your Discord giveaway. After entering, each participant gets a unique link, plus share buttons for WhatsApp, Telegram, X, and Reddit with a message prefilled around your prize. When a friend enters through that link, the referrer's bonus entries land on the spot, and the friend joins your Discord server as part of entering.

It is on by default for every giveaway, on every plan, and it runs in all four entry modes, including one-click taskless drops. You decide what a referral is worth, cap it per person or across the whole giveaway, and self-referrals and repeat pairs are filtered out automatically, so the counts stay honest without you watching them.

How It Works

From the builder toggle to credited bonus entries, in the order it happens

  1. 1

Set what a friend is worth

Referrals are on by default in the giveaway builder, at 5 bonus entries per friend. Tune the reward anywhere from 1 to 100 entries to match how much a new member is worth to you against the entries your tasks award.

Two caps keep the economy in your hands. A per-person limit bounds how many referrals any one entrant can earn from, and a global cap bounds the total the giveaway will pay out. Both are optional, and both only stop the bonus, never the friend's own entry.

Number of bonus entries awarded per referral (1-100)

Max referrals per user (clear for infinite)

Cap the total bonuses across all participants. The Discord button shows a live count of remaining slots.

Prevent repeated referrals of the same person across giveaways

    • Every friend brought in is worth +5 entries to the entrant who invited them.
    • No per-person limit, so a single entrant can keep earning without a ceiling.
    • No total cap, so bonuses keep paying out for as long as the giveaway runs.
  2. 3

A friend enters, and joins your server

The link opens your giveaway's entry page. The friend authorizes with Discord once, and that single step submits their entry and joins them to your Discord server. The referrer's bonus entries are credited the moment the friend's entry completes, with no claiming and no manual review.

The count stays honest on its own: self-referrals are blocked, unique-referrals mode makes a referrer-friend pair count only once across all your server's giveaways, and on plans with alt account and bot detection, a red-flagged friend's entry is excluded from the draw, and their invite stops counting toward the total when you require entrants to invite friends to win.

  3. 4

FOMO Mode puts a number on the race

FOMO Mode makes the global cap visible to entrants. Switch it on and the giveaway pays out a limited number of referral bonuses, 40 by default, while the Discord button shows a live count of slots left.

Scarcity changes when people share. With unlimited bonuses, posting your link tomorrow works as well as posting it now. With 12 slots left, it doesn't, so the link spreads in the first hours of the giveaway, when momentum matters most.

    28 / 40

Every entrant sees the same number, so sharing early is worth more than sharing later. Press the button for the private reply it opens, and drag to 40 to see what happens when the cap runs out.

Setups This Enables

The same referral loop, tuned three different ways

The one-click viral drop

A taskless giveaway with referrals on is the lightest growth setup there is: members enter in a single click, then the only way to improve their odds is to bring friends. Every entry past the first click is a new member.

A launch-day race with FOMO Mode

Cap the bonuses at 40 and announce it. The visible slots-left count on the Discord button pushes everyone to share within hours of launch, which is exactly when you want the spike, and the cap keeps the total payout predictable.

Weekly giveaways that only reward new blood

On a recurring giveaway, turn on unique-referrals mode. Bringing the same friend back every week counts once, so week after week, the only referrals worth bonus entries are people your server has never seen.

Your Entrants Reach People Your Announcement Never Will

An announcement reaches your members. Referral links reach theirs.

A giveaway announcement reaches the members you already have. Each of those members, though, has their own friends, group chats, and servers, and a referral link gives them a reason to post there. A hundred entrants become a hundred small promoters, each vouching for your giveaway to people who trust them.

It also grows your server the compliant way. Discord penalizes rewarding members for raw server invites, and a referral link works differently: it invites people to a giveaway, and the server join happens naturally as part of entering. Every referred friend arrives as a member who came for something, which is a better start than a cold invite ever gives you.

And the numbers you draw winners from stay honest. Self-referrals are blocked, flagged alts are excluded from the draw and from Invite-to-Win counts on plans with fraud detection, and unique-referrals mode keeps a fixed friend group from crediting each other giveaway after giveaway. The growth a referral count shows you is growth from new people.
