What's new in ScopliDrop

Every update to the giveaway bot and the dashboard, newest first. New features, improvements and the fixes that matter.

  1. Free trials, unlimited Invite-to-Win and a round of fixes

Free trials, unlimited Invite-to-Win and a round of fixes, ScopliDrop update of October 28, 2026

An easier way to try paid features, no more cap on Invite-to-Win, categories on the Live Giveaways page, and a lot of fixes from a deep cleanup of the giveaway code.

    Try paid features for free

When you hit a paid feature, you can now start a free trial of the plan that unlocks it, right from that screen. 14 days with a card (nothing charged today, and you get a reminder before the first payment), or 7 days with no card at all for Premium and Business. One trial per server, for a first plan.

The upgrade screen itself was redesigned too. It shows exactly what you get compared to your current plan.

Free trial screen on a paid feature

No more cap on invite requirements

With Invite-to-Win, members have to invite friends to your giveaway on Discord before they can win. Paid plans can now require as many invites as they want. The old limit of 100 is gone.

Paid subscription roles in role pickers

Roles from Discord Server Subscriptions now show up when you pick roles for your giveaway requirements, with a Paid badge. They stay out of pickers where the bot has to give the role (winner roles, level roles), since Discord doesn't let bots assign them.

Categories on the Live Giveaways page

The Live Giveaways page now has categories. Participants can filter by Roblox & Robux, Nitro & Discord Shop, Steam & PC games, Funded accounts and Cash & gift cards. This should help people looking for a specific prize find your giveaway more easily.

Your giveaway lands in a category by itself when the prize names it ("10,000 Robux", "Nitro", a Steam key). If your prize just says the game's name, pick the category yourself in the Public listing section of the giveaway form.

Ended giveaways also stay visible for 30 days now, so people who missed yours can still find your server and catch the next one.

    Also in this update

    • The website is a lot faster. Pages like the homepage, pricing, features and free tools now load about half the code they used to and show up almost instantly.
    • In some cases, invite bonus entries could get lost, when a participant updated their entry from Discord or when two invited friends joined at the exact same moment. Fixed.
    • On the ScopliDrop vote lootbox, your vote is now checked automatically when you come back from Top.gg and the chest unlocks right away. If Top.gg is slow, Verify and open checks again and opens the chest in one click.
    • The dashboard no longer crashes when your browser translates the page.
    • The giveaway list now pages through every giveaway on your server instead of stopping at the 50 newest.
    • In rare cases, a scheduled giveaway or auction could launch twice when two launches started at the exact same moment. Fixed.
    • In the rare case the bot can't post a scheduled giveaway, no empty giveaway is left in your list anymore, and its prize pool codes go back to the pool.
    • Editing or duplicating a schedule with a custom end text keeps the text, so saving no longer asks you to type it again.
    • Scheduled and template giveaways set to "No image" no longer show an image.
    • Taskless templates now show up in the bot's template picker.
    • Giveaway images pasted as Discord links no longer go blank after a day on the Live Giveaways page, in templates and in schedules. ScopliDrop now keeps its own copy.

As always, if you run into anything or have an idea, tell us in #support or #ideas. We read everything.

  2. Public listing analytics for all plans and stronger upvotes

Public listing analytics for all plans and stronger upvotes, ScopliDrop update of October 20, 2026

A public listing update today, with some insights.

    Some encouraging insights first

We really believe in the public listing, and so far both owners and the community have been loving it! Last week was its best week yet:

    • 262 clicks on Enter (+27%)
    • 232 upvotes (+55%)
    • 94 giveaways getting traffic, 2.5x more than at launch

Since launch, that's 26,800+ views and 1,400+ clicks on Enter for hosts.

    Upvotes became more important

Upvotes help you rank both in the most upvoted filter and in the default trending algorithm.

The trending algorithm takes your hourly participation rate into account.

Upvotes used to count the same as 2 participations. Now each upvote is worth as much as 10 participants entering the giveaway, 5x more than before.

    Advanced public listing analytics

All plans now have access to advanced public listing analytics in their giveaway details. You can track:

    • your feed impressions and feed card clicks,
    • your feed click-through rate,
    • detail page views,
    • clicks on the detail page card to join your Discord straight away,
    • clicks on the detail page to enter your giveaway from the web.

That should be more than enough to understand how your different giveaways perform on the public listing.

How to get the most out of the public listing

    • Name the prize clearly. Concrete prizes like "1,000 Robux", "Nitro" or "$100 gift card" get almost 2x more clicks than vague ones like "SECRET" or "100M".
    • Ask your members to upvote. Upvotes push you up the Trending sort. Giveaways with 15+ upvotes get about 4x the click rate and 8x the page views of ones with none. There are 2 ways to do it:
      • use the "Upvote giveaway on ScopliDrop" task in your giveaway. It's the only task that doesn't count toward your task limit,
      • ask your members to run /upvote in your server. It automatically asks them which running giveaway they'd like to upvote and sends them to the listing.
    • Server size doesn't matter. Servers under 1k members get clicked as much as 20k+ ones. The prize does the work.
    • Add an image. It's a small boost, not a game changer, but listings with one get a few more views and clicks.

    The daily giveaway newsletter

For those who haven't noticed, we've also been building a #giveaway-newsletter channel in our Discord that sends one daily giveaway recap to subscribers. It has been growing a lot lately, and it will keep helping your giveaways grow as it grows.

For info, giveaways in this newsletter are ranked with the same trending algorithm we use on the website (see the upvote ranking tips above).

As always, thank you so much to all of you for the positive feedback, and don't hesitate to reach out in #support or #ideas if you have any feature suggestion or partnership inquiry.

  3. Image uploads, a cleaner engagement setup and screenshot proof

Image uploads, a cleaner engagement setup and screenshot proof, ScopliDrop update of October 13, 2026

A big quality of life update today.

    Images hosted on ScopliDrop

You can now upload your giveaway image straight to ScopliDrop when launching your giveaway, no need to host it on a separate platform.

It also comes with some image editing tools (resizing, cropping, and adjusting to the optimal size for Discord and our public listing).

Adjust your image window with wide and square formats, zoom and a Crop and upload button

    A cleaner engagement setup

No more messy engagement setup tab. Every engagement feature now sits in its own dedicated tab, making it way easier to find what you're looking for. I'm sure you'll discover some features you didn't even know existed. @0 came up with this thanks to the feedback of a few dozen communities.

Leveling and Economy overview with separate Leveling, Economy, Minigames, Competitions and Auctions tabs

    Activity Mania for everyone

Talking about features nobody knew about, Activity Mania has been available to everyone for a few weeks. For reference, Activity Mania is an economy competition where participants are ranked by the coins they won over a given period through activity, games and more.

We ran one in our community Discord a few weeks ago, and the community loved it. Some other communities, like @arigoldstein's, had already been doing it manually for months. You should definitely give it a try.

    New verification method, screenshot proof

That's a feature quite a few of you were waiting for to boost task completion. You can now ask your participants to submit one or multiple screenshots as proof when they submit a task.

Participants go complete your task, and when they come back, they're asked for a screenshot of what they did. You can still ask for the username, comment link or anything else alongside it.

When winners are selected, you have easy access to all their screenshots. If anything is missing or feels wrong, the reroll button sits right next to it!

@Spirit asked for it, but he's not the only one, thank you all for the suggestion!

Proof Submission verification method with Username, Screenshots and Both options

Complete Task window telling the participant to come back with their Twitch username and 2 screenshots

Submit Proof window with a Twitch username field and two screenshot upload areas

As always, if you have ideas, don't hesitate to share them in #support or #ideas. We read everything and won't hesitate to build anything that fits.

  4. Simpler giveaway form, mobile task builder and a daily digest

Simpler giveaway form, mobile task builder and a daily digest, ScopliDrop update of September 16, 2026

Over the last few weeks, we consistently gathered feedback and studied how people interact with our platform and what they're looking for when they use us. Today we redesigned an important part of the giveaway creation form to make it way friendlier and more intuitive, and way more pleasant to use on mobile. I want to thank @D/LockOfficial for his big help on this!

    UX changes

    • No more mode picker. You no longer choose between taskless, Discord in-app, flexible or web mode before choosing your tasks. We now ask whether you want tasks in your giveaway at all, and we automatically assign the best mode for your task set. For example:

      • if you only have Discord compatible tasks, we pick Discord in-app mode,
      • if you only have optional web tasks, we pick flexible mode (one-click entry inside Discord and a web page for the optional tasks),
      • if you have at least one required web task, we pick web mode.

If you really want to force web mode for Discord tasks (for anti-fraud purposes, for example), there's a small toggle for that. Nothing changes in terms of capabilities. This just makes the mode a secondary, optional choice rather than another decision point. Templates with modes shouldn't be affected. They open in the new form with the exact same behavior as before, so there's nothing to change.

    • The template task builder has been COMPLETELY redesigned on mobile. Way better flow, spacing, mobile interface and overall experience. You're no longer working in a long vertical builder but on a clean single page with smart windows. It's hard to explain clearly in text, so go try it, I'm sure you'll love it!

    • The form automatically scrolls to the issue if there's a problem when you launch.

    • Invite-to-Win (invite requirements for the giveaway) is now way easier to find. It sits right under your task set where you'd expect it, instead of hidden in the optional referral settings.

    • There's now a floating help button at the top of your screen. If you ever need help, click it and it takes you to our Discord.

You'll also notice quite a few tweaks here and there on the form.

Redesigned giveaway creation form on mobile, asking whether the giveaway should have tasks

Mobile task builder showing the task set and a recommended Upvote giveaway task

The public listing becomes even more interesting

    • Giveaway enjoyers can now subscribe to a daily digest of giveaways. Every day, the bot sends ONE private message to subscribers recapping all the giveaways posted that day. To join, type /digest in the ScopliDrop Discord, or turn it on directly from the listing with the small digest button. Featured giveaways come at the top of the daily digest.
    • In case you missed it, there's a voting ecosystem around the listing. Each vote on your giveaway makes it rank way higher, and ranking higher means more people discovering what you do. We added an /upvote command. Just ask your users to type it and they'll be asked directly which giveaway to upvote (if you have any running right now).
    • To help with upvotes, there's also a free "Upvote giveaway on ScopliDrop" task (it doesn't use any task slot in your plan). You'll find it in the community section of the task builder.

Daily digest button above the giveaway cards on the public listing

Here's how the digest looks if you follow it with /digest. One message per day at most, just a quick daily recap in case you want to try your luck.

We're waiting on your feedback, feel free to let us know in #support. And as always, if you have any feature ideas, feel free to share them in #ideas.

  5. Listing upvotes, click tracking and winner cooldown by events

Listing upvotes, click tracking and winner cooldown by events, ScopliDrop update of September 6, 2026

A small update today, but with an important mechanic.

    Growing the public listing's visibility

In case you missed it, we released our public Discord giveaway listing, and we've been slowly rolling it out across our whole platform.

    • The landing page links to it.
    • 404 pages link to it.
    • The lootbox page discreetly links to it.

You probably get it. We want to make that place the ultimate reference for finding Discord giveaways and for growing from it, and it will get WAY better, trust me.

Page not found screen showing live giveaways you can enter right now

    Performance tracking infrastructure

We released a full infrastructure to track views, clicks and interactions across our platform. It lets you track your public listing performance, and soon much more, from your giveaway details. A follow-up update is planned with graphs and better ways to learn from these analytics.

That infrastructure will also power our ads platform once it's fully released. It will let you promote your giveaway or service all over our website, get people to discover your product through the lootbox and much more. If you're already interested in ads, feel free to open a support ticket and you'll be contacted first for discounted beta testing.

Giveaway details showing entry sources and public listing performance with impressions, clicks and feed click rate

    Upvotes on public listing giveaways

To reward quality giveaways and enthusiastic communities, we've released an upvote system.

Each upvote makes your giveaway rank higher in the default "trending" algorithm, and also helps it rank on the most upvoted sort.

You can now ask your members to upvote your giveaway by:

    • sharing your listing page with them and asking them to click the upvote button (see screenshot),
    • using the /upvote giveaway command. They pick which giveaway they want to upvote, and it sends them to the web page to upvote it automatically.

There's also a new task, "Upvote giveaway on ScopliDrop", which you'll find in the community category of the task builder (see screenshot). This task sends your participants to the listing and upvotes for them automatically. Having the task in your giveaway also adds an "Upvote" button to your giveaway embed to boost completions. The task also works in full Discord in-app mode, so the web app isn't needed.

One important note. This task does not count toward your plan's task limit. If you've reached your plan's maximum, you can still add it on top of your other tasks.

Upvote button next to Enter this giveaway on a public listing page

Upvote this giveaway on ScopliDrop task in the Community Support category of the task library

Winner cooldown based on number of events

We already had winner cooldowns in days (participants can't win 2 giveaways or auctions within X days), but you can now choose a number of events in between instead. For example, a winner can only win again after you run 3 more giveaways or auctions. Suggested by @DanByte🐉👽💎, nice one!

Once again, I want to thank you all for the support and for being here this early in the journey. Thank you for your trust, support and enthusiasm, but also for all your feature and improvement ideas. As always, feel free to suggest anything you have in mind in #ideas or #support. We read everything, even if we don't answer straight away.

  6. Public giveaway listing and auto complete for web entries

Public giveaway listing and auto complete for web entries, ScopliDrop update of September 1, 2026

Really proud of this update. It should definitely bring a lot of value to all server owners, but also to giveaway participants.

    Public giveaway listing

You can now list your giveaway publicly on our website!

Each day, thousands of people hang around our website, whether it's for our tools, our lootbox or anything else. You can now benefit from it and grow your server by advertising your giveaway on our website... for free.

People can choose to join your giveaway directly through our native external sharing system (which makes them both complete your tasks and automatically join your server, see how the viral share link works), or join your server directly and enter the giveaway from there.

Giveaways are also automatically reposted in our community Discord once they reach 10 participants. Have a look at the live public giveaway listing.

Make sure to update your templates to enable the public listing if it's turned off there!

And there's a cherry on top for ScopliDrop power users. Business users can now feature (sponsor) their giveaway once per month. Featuring means it gets listed at the top of the listing for 7 days straight (this may change as volume evolves), but most importantly it gets posted in the featured giveaways channel of our Discord, with a direct link to your Discord, and automatically pings our Community Giveaway ping role (3,000+ users).

If you don't have Business, no worries, a sponsorship is available for €9 as a one-time purchase.

Public giveaway listing page with search, filters and featured giveaway cards

Giveaway detail page on the public listing with participants, winners, time left and an Enter this giveaway button

Public listing section of the giveaway form with the List this giveaway publicly checkbox

Auto complete on web giveaway entries

This one should save hours for participants, especially if you run recurring giveaways.

Participants now get an auto complete button at the top of their web giveaway entry (if you kept it enabled, it's on by default). It completes and verifies all eligible tasks in one go, instead of making them complete the tasks one by one.

    • Discord tasks (except server tag) are checked and validated in one go, just like when you use Discord in-app mode straight from Discord.
    • Eligible proof submission tasks. If the participant already completed that exact task in a previous giveaway (same link, same purpose), auto complete offers to reuse the same proof handle as last time.
    • Custom tasks with info fields. Let's say you already collected the participant's name, email or phone number in a previous giveaway under the same task name. Auto complete offers to fill it in.

Before auto completing, a recap window is shown. A participant can opt out of any auto completion if they want to complete a task again manually (to change their info, for example).

It has been requested quite a few times, I'm thinking of @arigoldstein and @Kurito, thank you both for the suggestions!

If your participants disliked the bot at first, there's a solid 90% chance this was the exact reason. If anyone else has ideas, feel free to share them in #support or #ideas!

Auto-complete tasks window listing instant Discord checks and previous answers to reuse before confirming

    A first version

Keep in mind the public listing is a V1. A lot of improvements still need to be made, like view and click tracking, and we're waiting on your feedback to iterate, so don't hesitate to share it. Same goes for the traffic, be ready for growing results as we grow and promote the listing further!

  7. Custom bot token, winner roles and five new minigames

Custom bot token, winner roles and five new minigames, ScopliDrop update of August 21, 2026

Some of these rolled out earlier this month, some are more recent.

    Giveaways

    Custom bot token for Enterprise

Enterprise users can now run ScopliDrop on their own bot token (their own profile picture, banner and name, theirs from A to Z, with no mention of ScopliDrop anywhere). This was the last missing piece for complete white label branding. @arigoldstein pushed for that one, thank you!

    Winner roles and coin rewards

Attach roles to winning. Give every winner a role, or give 1st, 2nd and 3rd different ones. Useful if you have different tiers of VIP roles, for example. Roles can expire automatically after a duration you set. If your server economy is on, winners can earn coins too, with per-position amounts as well. This one had been asked for quite a few times already, and @꧁🍍Piña🍍꧂ was the last one. Great idea!

    Invite-to-Win for everyone

All servers can now require 1 invite per entrant, and paid plans up to 100. The embed now shows how many entrants are eligible to win. Read more about Invite-to-Win and how invite requirements work.

    Member growth for everyone

Everyone can now see their member growth chart. Useful to track your growth over time, you'll find it on the Overview tab.

    Embed thumbnails

Giveaway embeds can now carry a thumbnail in the top right corner. @꧁🍍Piña🍍꧂ suggested that one once again, thanks!

    Combine templates

Apply several task templates to one giveaway. Tasks merge into one list, and duplicates are removed automatically. @Jimmy Prehn was the first to suggest that one, but it had been requested quite a few times since then! It should give you more options in how you organize tasks.

    New tasks

Post on X, which opens a prefilled post on the participant's screen on X, and Subscribe on Kick.

    Cleaner winner announcement

The winner announcement message now uses Discord's Components V2 and should look way cleaner.

    Also in this update

    • Schedule an auction and save auction templates.
    • Pre-flight permission checks tell you exactly what the bot is missing before launch.
    • Reorder custom task fields by dragging them in the template builder (@arigoldstein here again).
    • A full mobile pass on the dashboard and entry portal.

    Minigames and economy

    Components V2 on minigames

Most games have been migrated to Components V2 for a cleaner look. Copy and embeds are also more consistent now.

    No more /economy prefix

You can now type most commands directly in the chat, like /balance, with no need for the /economy prefix. @DanByte🐉👽💎 suggested this one, thanks!

    Five new minigames

Liar's Dice, Yatzy, Bid War, Word Duel and Dots & Boxes. All games are now flat commands (/liarsdice, /yatzy...).

    Gifter roles

Configure gifter roles, and their holders get a gift allowance (a fixed amount, N per day or week) to hand out with /gift. The allowance is minted, so gifters spend nothing of their own. Generosity as a perk.

    Newbie protection

When a veteran challenges a brand-new member to a big wager, the newbie gets warned first. You can also have the bot block those matchups entirely. You can tune it on the dashboard (@hxnzz🩵elfaria, I promised to get that one done for you).

    Age gates per game

Games can be restricted to 18+ only. House games always stay 18+.

Really thankful for all the support and for everyone helping the bot improve with their suggestions. If you have any issues or suggestions, don't hesitate to reach out in #support.

  8. Invite-to-Win, white label branding and a new Enterprise plan

Invite-to-Win, white label branding and a new Enterprise plan, ScopliDrop update of July 9, 2026

This release does two things. We made every server's giveaways easier to grow, and we gave bigger communities and businesses real white label and compliance tools.

    In short

    • Invite-to-Win (Premium). Require entrants to invite a set number of people before they can win, so every participant becomes an inviter.
    • Quick share. The success screen gives entrants their referral link with one-tap share buttons the moment they enter.
    • View tasks first. On a shared link, people can preview the tasks before connecting Discord.
    • Video codes (Premium). Hide codes in your video that entrants must type in, so watch tasks require real watch time.
    • Twitch API (Premium). Follow and Subscribe tasks verified for real through the Twitch API, with optional minimum sub tier gating.
    • White label (Enterprise). Brand the entry portal with your own colors, logo and name instead of ScopliDrop purple.
    • App Verified (Enterprise). Let any external app confirm a real action a participant took on its platform (a sign-up, a purchase, a quest) so it counts as a task.
    • Country tools. See where entrants are from (Premium), plus each participant's country and country blocking for legal cases (Enterprise).
    • Hosted by. Credit other users on the embed, not just the giveaway creator.
    • Responsiveness. Big layout improvements so the dashboard and entry portal work far better on mobile.
    • Permissions. Giveaway creation now tells you exactly which permission is missing and where (channel override or global).
    • Enterprise plan. A new tier bundling white label, App Verified and country blocking for brand and legal needs.

    Here's everything in detail.

Invite-to-Win, the huge one for growth (Premium+)

Invite-to-Win lets you require participants to bring in a minimum number of invites (referrals) before they're eligible to win. Turn it on in the Referral section of the giveaway builder and set how many are needed (1 to 100, default 3).

Participants complete the tasks as usual, then see a "One more step" prompt after they submit if the requirement is on. From there, they're prompted to invite their friends with their referral link until the giveaway ends if they want to be eligible for the winner selection.

Note that referral links are invites TO YOUR GIVEAWAY, not Discord invites to your server. Each participant entering through a referral will:

    • complete your tasks,
    • automatically join your Discord server.

This one had been asked for quite a lot, and it will definitely be one of ScopliDrop's main growth mechanics.

One more step screen telling the entrant to invite 3 friends to the giveaway to be able to win

Invite to Win explainer showing a personal invite link, invites counting once friends enter, and the 3/3 eligible badge

To win block on the entry page asking to invite 3 friends to the giveaway to be eligible

Quick share on the success screen

Once someone enters, the success screen hands them their referral link with one-tap share buttons, right when they're most excited to share and hungry to become eligible.

Success screen with an invite progress bar, a Copy Referral Link button and share buttons for WhatsApp, Telegram, X and Reddit

    Preview the tasks before connecting

On a shared giveaway link, people can now preview all the tasks before connecting Discord. They see what they're getting into first, which cuts drop-off and gets more people to a completed entry.

Shared giveaway welcome page with a View tasks first button under Continue with Discord

    Video code verification (Premium+)

Hide one or more codes inside a "watch a video" task and require entrants to type them in. The code fields stay blurred until the usual minimum watch time passes. When entrants come back, they have to enter the codes they found in your video to complete the task.

Enter the Secret Codes window asking for the two codes shown in a YouTube video

    Twitch API

Twitch tasks are now verified through the Twitch API.

    • Follow on Twitch. Entrants follow your channel, checked live against the Twitch API.
    • Subscribe on Twitch. Require a subscription, and gate it by tier if you want (any subscriber, Tier 2 or higher, or Tier 3 only). Prime counts as Tier 1, gift subs count, and Tier 2/3 gating works on Partner channels.

As APIs and terms of service evolve, we won't hesitate to add new API verification methods where possible and compliant. Don't hesitate to reach out if we're missing anything.

    Twitch logo

    App Verified (Enterprise)

Genuinely excited about this one. Custom tasks are one of our most used business features, especially for data collection, and App Verified boosts them. Any external service can confirm a participant genuinely completed an action on its own platform and answer with a signed yes or no. If a developer can check it, you can make it a task.

A task can be almost anything:

    • Sign up on a partner's website or app
    • Make a purchase in a store
    • Complete a quest or reach a level in a game (for example on Forgeblast)
    • Install or connect a partner's app, extension or plugin
    • Subscribe to a service, plan or newsletter
    • Reach a milestone, rank or streak on another platform
    • Verify a status, like an existing customer, a subscriber or an account owner
    • Redeem or use a promo code
    • Do something on a platform we don't natively support yet

The partner app cryptographically signs its answer, so you can trust the completion is real. Developers wire it up through the Verified Actions developer docs. It turns ScopliDrop tasks into an open platform.

If you're a developer and want to integrate your app as a test, feel free to reach out.

Custom task verification methods with the App Verified option marked Enterprise

    White label branding (Enterprise)

There's a new Branding tab in the dashboard. Make the entry portal yours instead of ScopliDrop purple.

    • Theme. Pick a curated preset (Midnight, Ocean, Emerald, Crimson, Amber) or go Custom with your own accent and background colors. Contrast is validated as you type so text stays readable.
    • Logo and brand name. Add a logo URL and/or a brand name. The logo shows at the top of the portal, and a brand name renders as a wordmark beside it (or on its own with no logo) and replaces "Giveaway by {server}" with your name. Any shape works, it's scaled to fit.
    • Remove ScopliDrop branding. Now part of the white label suite alongside your colors and logo, so your whole brand lives in one place. It's included with Enterprise rather than sold standalone on Business. Giveaways already running with branding removed keep working as they are, and the change only applies to new giveaways.
    • Live preview. Shows the real entry flow (welcome, tasks, success) with your colors, logo and your own Discord avatar, plus a share link landing preview with your real server icon.

Any plan can play with the tab, only saving requires Enterprise. Colors and logo apply live, so one save restyles every active giveaway's portal instantly.

Branding tab with theme presets, logo and brand name fields, the remove branding toggle and a live preview of the entry portal

    Country tools

    • Country geolocation (Premium+). See where your entrants are coming from.
    • Per-user country and country blocking (Enterprise). See each participant's country and block entries from specific countries, for the serious legal and compliance cases that come with bigger giveaways.

Entries by Country globe with a ranked list of countries and their share of entries

Geo Restriction setting with Off, Warn and Block options in the giveaway builder

    New Enterprise plan

A new tier bundling white label branding (including removing ScopliDrop branding), App Verified partner tasks, and per-user country plus country blocking. Built for communities and businesses that need giveaways to look entirely like their brand and hold up to legal scrutiny.

Pricing cards for Premium, Business and the new Enterprise plan

    Other improvements

    • Hosted by, for anyone. The "Hosted by" credit on the embed can now be set to other users, not just the creator.
    • Responsiveness. The dashboard and entry portal work far better on mobile and smaller screens.
    • Smarter permission errors. If something's missing when you create a giveaway, the app tells you exactly what, whether it's a channel override or a global permission, and which permission.
    • Bot appearance in Branding. Customizing the bot's name and avatar now lives in the Branding tab.

  9. French translation, a business CRM and bypass required fields

French translation, a business CRM and bypass required fields, ScopliDrop update of June 20, 2026

Especially useful if you run a brand or a business, and for the French community!

    French translation

The bot now fully supports French, both on the dashboard (your own language preference) and in the language your users see when they interact with the bot and on the entry portal.

You can set your own preference in your website profile (top right) and the main bot language in server settings.

We've always built the bot to be as flexible as possible so it fits your brands and projects better, so a per giveaway override is available on the giveaway creation form as well.

It had been requested quite a few times by a lot of different people, @Eʅ Pԋσҽɳιx 𓅃, @⎝KHAO⎠ | Adriizz69 and many more, thanks!

Let us know in our community Discord or in #support which language the bot should support next.

Server Settings panel with the Bot Language picker set to Français

Business CRM (your own profile dataset)

This one is huge for businesses. You can now start building your own contact list right from your ScopliDrop giveaways, which is a first among Discord bots.

    • You collect this data through custom tasks (with an on/off sync toggle per field).
    • By default it has birthday, name, country and email. You can add as many custom fields as you like.
    • When you set up a new custom field, you have a few options for how we should handle that data. Overwrite the field each time the participant submits a new value, keep the first value that participant submitted, or append (it just adds up).
    • If the field is immutable ("keep the first value"), for example a birth date that shouldn't change, the CRM flags the discrepancy and notifies you that something is fake.
    • During setup, it also asks whether the field should be unique among all participants. Names can probably be shared, but a shared email surely means there's an alt. If you set the field as unique, the CRM flags people sharing the same data.

Really useful for anyone looking to get ROI out of their Discord community and start building their email list as a new way to reach people. You'll be able to use it for email campaigns or whatever you need later on.

@arigoldstein suggested and paid for this feature to be built fast, so whoever also needs it can thank him!

CRM dashboard listing collected member data, with an email flagged as used by another account (possible alt)

    Bypass required fields

This is a specific need @arigoldstein ran into, but it could be a real issue for anyone here. He gives a bypass role to customers as a thank you and a motivation to buy (he runs recurring giveaways, so it saves a lot of time). He asks for participants' data in every giveaway, but if someone never completed a giveaway and got a bypass role, he ended up with no data at all from them.

When you set up a bypass role, you can now mark some fields as "required". If the platform notices that someone has a bypass role but never submitted the required data, that person gets a link to a web portal to enter that information, and instantly bypasses all tasks once they submit it.

    A few more things

    • Fixed a bug with some Discord tasks where the bot asked to generate an entry token while the token was perfectly valid (reported by @Mr Ash, thank you!).
    • Custom tasks have a new "country" field type. Instead of users typing their country however they like, they now pick it from a dropdown, which avoids discrepancies in your data.

As always, if you have feature suggestions, don't hesitate to let us know in #support!

  10. Recurring giveaways, dynamic share images and three free tools

Recurring giveaways, dynamic share images and three free tools, ScopliDrop update of June 5, 2026

A big one today, and an interesting one.

    Recurring giveaways

You can now schedule recurring giveaways, with tons of settings to make sure it fits what you need. It should definitely save a lot of time for most of you! Thanks @LiveYourLifeNerd for suggesting that one!

Schedule configuration repeating a giveaway every Friday at 4:00 PM, with timezone, duration and stop options

    Dynamic share images

This one is a genuinely good improvement and should massively help link sharing. We can now generate the link image dynamically when you share on social media. The link example below is the old one, which is now replaced by whatever you choose in the "Share card" section (in the viral and referral settings).

Share Card settings with the Ticket card option selected and a preview of the generated ticket image

Share Card settings with the Embed card option selected and a preview of the Discord-style card

Old share link preview in Discord showing a generic New Giveaway image, crossed out

    Also in this update

    • Fixed a bug in Discord in-app mode where entries were miscalculated with multiple "Have role" tasks. Thanks @ItsJCamp for reporting that one!
    • Improved performance on the dashboard (faster load times).

    Three new free tools

    • Discord rules templates help you pick a ruleset for your server, or generate one yourself.
    • The Discord color picker helps you pick any color precisely, preview it on Discord and copy the code in any format Discord could need.
    • The Discord server name generator is for people who need server name ideas. It generates tons of different vibes, styles and more. It could give you some ideas if you're stuck!

Discord rule templates tool showing an aesthetic ruleset with a Copy all button

Discord color picker with hex, decimal, RGB and JavaScript values plus role and embed color previews

As always, if you have any feature ideas, run into an issue or just want to ask a question, feel free to share it in #ideas or open a #support ticket!

  11. Multiple prizes with their own winners and a server audit log

Multiple prizes with their own winners and a server audit log, ScopliDrop update of June 3, 2026

Three new features that have been requested quite a few times.

Multiple prizes, each with its own number of winners

We changed the way we handle the winner count. No more global count. You can now choose how many winners you want per prize. You can add unlimited prizes and unlimited winners per prize, that's up to you. Thanks @Mr Ash and @◟Taiga﹣♡﹒˚ for suggesting that one!

    Server audit log

Especially useful if you're running a big team, it helps you know who did what and when. Clicking a log row gives you all the details you need. For example, if someone edits a template, you'll know exactly what got edited in that template. It logs practically everything: server settings, new creations, edits, economy grants, integration changes, etc. Available on all tiers (3 days of retention on Free, 14 days on Premium, 30 days on Business). @Charie, @Arman and @Whitebeard brought that one to life, thanks!

Discord in-app mode now supports optional tasks

We used to turn every optional task into a required one in this mode, but now it works perfectly with your templates that mix optional and required tasks. Required tasks that aren't completed block the entry, while optional ones don't block it but grant extra entries to whoever completes them. Thanks to the many people who recommended that one, @// 𝚂𝚢 //, @ItsJCamp, @eli and many more I don't remember.

    A few more things

    • You can now move your giveaway to another channel with the /changechannel command (it deletes the giveaway and posts it again in the other channel without resetting it). Useful if you want to preview the giveaway in a private channel and then make it live once everything is set up correctly. @◟Taiga﹣♡﹒˚ suggested that one, thanks!
    • Fixed an issue where the "Join Discord" task would sometimes say the bot is not on the target server while it is. @0 found that one, thanks for the report.

As always, if you have a feature suggestion or a bug, don't hesitate to reach out in #support or #ideas!

  12. Auto claim and reroll, quickstart and ended giveaway pages

Auto claim and reroll, quickstart and ended giveaway pages, ScopliDrop update of May 1, 2026

Three big features for server owners in this one.

    Auto claim and reroll (Premium+)

Stop losing time thinking about rerolls, who claimed and who did not. Winners now have to actively claim. If they ghost, the giveaway rerolls itself.

    • Winners see a green Claim button on the win embed.
    • Clicking it marks the prize as claimed and automatically creates a private ticket channel for the prize handoff.
    • If the winner doesn't claim within your configured window (up to 30 days), the giveaway rerolls.
    • You set how many reroll attempts to allow (1 to 5, default 3).
    • Rerolls exclude anyone who already failed to claim in a previous cycle, so a ghost can't keep getting picked again.
    • It's configurable per giveaway in the builder.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure anymore of everyone who suggested this feature, but I know @arigoldstein and @ItsJCamp are the latest!

Claim Tickets and Autoreroll settings in the giveaway builder, with claim window, give up count, ticket category and button label

    Quickstart, your server's default template

A single template that automatically loads into every Create Giveaway form on your server. Set your team's defaults once and every new giveaway starts from there, consistent and fast.

    • It loads for everyone on the server when they open the giveaway form.
    • It's best for the settings you keep the same across every giveaway (ping roles, blacklist, claim ticket settings, etc.).
    • Loading a saved template later still overrides these defaults for that one giveaway.

The difference with templates is that the quickstart is a true default. You don't have to think about it. Every time you click "New giveaway", it just loads. Opening a standard template completely overrides it.

It also handles the /giveaway taskless command. Each giveaway you send through that command can optionally be filled by the quickstart (the bot sends a confirmation and a recap).

Giveaway templates page with a Server Default badge on the quickstart template

Taskless giveaway preview in Discord listing what the quickstart will add, with Use quickstart and Skip quickstart buttons

Ended giveaway pages that keep growing your server

This one is huge, and it makes sharing your viral share links on the internet way more important.

Every old giveaway page is now a live recruitment surface. Instead of our old red "This giveaway has ended" error with a button to go home, each ended link is now a discovery layer for your new giveaways (it shows all your currently active giveaways for people to join).

This means that if you share a link on Reddit or TikTok right now, two years later that link will still promote the giveaways running at that time. And remember that everyone entering through share links automatically joins your server, so it makes your server grow over time without you doing anything.

For it to work properly and never go stale, we added a server settings tab where you can set an invite URL to your server. It automatically applies to all ended pages, so make sure this invite stays up to date. The good thing with this approach is that updating that invite automatically applies it to all your ended giveaway pages (see the server settings screenshot).

To recap, the traffic still trickling in from past giveaways now flows into your current giveaways instead of dead-ending on a broken Discord invite.

This feature was hinted at by @arigoldstein again, and I'm sure a lot of you will like it, especially owners used to sharing on the web. I'm thinking of @Majerik.Magicien and @🦑🐙 ᙃɾᥱᥲᑯꙆoᥴƙtoρᥙ⳽ 🐙🦑, who have been posting these links consistently over the past few months.

  13. Granular role permissions, custom entry terms and new minigames

Granular role permissions, custom entry terms and new minigames, ScopliDrop update of April 22, 2026

We've been shipping day and night lately. Don't blink or you might miss something.

    New stuff

    • "Hosted by" toggle. There's now a toggle on the dashboard to show who created the giveaway on the Discord embed. Thanks @Arman for suggesting that one.
    • Custom terms and privacy. You can now set your own custom terms and privacy policy. Users have to accept them to enter your giveaway. Thanks @arigoldstein for the suggestion!
    • Engagement games. We added Tic Tac Toe and Connect Four to the engagement economy tab. As always, you can enable or disable minigames anytime from your dashboard.
    • Activity runner daily recap. You can now set up a channel where, every day around midnight UTC, the day's top messagers get posted. You can also automatically give them a certain amount of points.
    • Economy leaderboard avatars. Discord avatars now show next to users on the economy leaderboard. @✧〘𓆩Milan𓆪〙✧ found that one.
    • Per-server PvP and house tax settings. Server owners can now set their own gambling tax rates. I really recommend setting up at least a small tax on your server to keep your economy healthy over time, so your currency doesn't become overinflated.
    • Server permissions overhaul. Fine-grained role permissions across the dashboard, plus a "View As Role" banner so admins can preview what a role sees (more on this below). Thanks @Whitebeard and @Arman for that suggestion.
    • Discord Tools hub. A new Discord tools page that gathers all the quick tools we offer.
    • Discord Permissions Calculator. A new Discord permissions calculator, added to the Discord Tools hub.
    • Discord Timestamp Generator. If you need to generate Discord timestamps (like April 22, 2026) that automatically convert to every timezone on Discord, our Discord timestamp generator is probably the smoothest tool you'll come across.

Giveaway embed in Discord with a Hosted by line mentioning the creator

Show Hosted by toggle in the giveaway settings

Custom Entry Terms and Rules field in the giveaway settings

Link to the server's terms and rules under the entry agreement checkbox

Discord Timestamp Generator with a natural language date field and copyable timestamp formats

    Improvements

    • Faster lootbox claims. Lootbox reward confirmations no longer wait on the bot, so they're faster, and this also fixes a bug where people wouldn't see their spin animation.
    • Economy leaderboard names. Usernames now show properly instead of raw Discord IDs. @✧〘𓆩Milan𓆪〙✧ reported that one, thanks.
    • Channel dropdown search. The search field now keeps focus correctly while typing.
    • Regex and dates in custom tasks. We added regex support to custom tasks. You can now force people to enter fields in a certain format, which is really useful to avoid mistakes. For example, if you require participants to write an order ID, you can enforce your specific format, like 18 characters starting with #0003 and ending with 997. Just an example. It could also be useful to make people write a confirmation like "I followed the account". It can be really powerful along with an admin note saying they'll get rerolled if the task is not properly completed. You can also force dates with our date picker. That one had been suggested and talked about for quite some time, thanks @arigoldstein, @Aerovall and @Jimmy Prehn!!
    • Date picker in custom tasks. The date picker (used mostly on custom tasks with a date field) now lets you easily browse by year. Thanks @arigoldstein for that one (again).

Date picker with buttons to jump a full year back or forward

    Fixes

    • Edit giveaway modal. Fixed a bug where editing a giveaway would fail if the description was too long. The description is now properly capped at 500 characters. Thanks @Geek for reporting that one.
    • Custom task dates. Date fields now parse at local midnight instead of shifting by timezone. This one comes from @arigoldstein, thank you so much!
    • Economy games not locking the wager. Fixed a bug where the wager wasn't locked, so people could abuse it by launching a game, then another one with money they shouldn't have, and someone could accept the first one while the second one still stayed acceptable. It could eventually duplicate coins. @✧〘𓆩Milan𓆪〙✧ reported that one in tickets again, thank you!
    • Bot profile scoping. Fixed a bug where the bot profile would not display properly when multiple managers used the dashboard. Thanks @Arman for making me investigate!

    New granular permission system

Up until now, dashboard access was all-or-nothing. Either you had full manager rights or you didn't. Fine for small servers, but it gets painful fast as soon as you have a big team to manage. You couldn't let a mod create giveaways without also handing them the keys to delete every giveaway, touch every setting and ping any role.

The new system breaks management into specific capabilities you can grant per Discord role. Head to the Permissions tab on the dashboard, pick a role, pick the capabilities, save.

Permissions tab in the dashboard sidebar with a role and its granted capabilities

What you can grant per role:

    • Create, edit and delete giveaways (independently, so you can let someone create without also letting them delete)
    • Create, edit and delete auctions
    • Create, edit and delete giveaway templates
    • Schedule giveaways
    • View the analytics dashboard (also gives access to per-giveaway analytics)
    • Ping roles, optionally with a whitelist of which roles they can @-mention
    • Post in channels, optionally with a whitelist of channels they can post giveaways and auctions into
    • Manage activity, economy, integrations or bot profile settings (each separately)
    • View and manage fraud flags (sensitive data, needs an explicit grant)

A role can hold any combination. "Auction managers" who only touch auctions. "Giveaway creators" who can post but can't delete anyone else's work. "Analytics-only" for a partner or board member who just watches the numbers.

Edit role permissions form with checkboxes grouped by giveaways, templates, auctions, scheduling, analytics and settings

    How it actually behaves

Creator shortcut. Whoever creates a giveaway, template or auction can always edit and delete their own work, even without the explicit role permission. Your work, your call. This is an important point. Even if someone doesn't have the permission to delete giveaways, they'll be able to delete their OWN. However, they won't be able to touch other people's giveaways.

Kicked means access gone. If someone leaves or gets kicked from your Discord server, they immediately lose dashboard access there, including on giveaways they created. No lingering control over past work.

Discord admins always bypass everything. Users with ADMINISTRATOR or MANAGE_GUILD on your Discord automatically have every permission, nothing to configure. The granular system is specifically for roles BELOW admin level.

Only Discord admins can configure permissions. Role-based managers you grant capabilities to cannot grant themselves more, cannot touch the Permissions tab, and cannot escalate.

How role permissions work panel explaining presets, ping whitelists, creator ownership and admin-only configuration

    View As Role

This is the part that's going to save support tickets. On the Permissions tab, click the eye icon next to any configured role to experience the dashboard exactly as a member of that role would. Same locks, same visible tabs, same restricted buttons. A banner pinned at the top shows you're in preview and lets you exit with one click.

Thanks again @Whitebeard and @Arman for your ideas on that feature.

Viewing as banner at the top of the dashboard, with locked sidebar items for the previewed role

  14. Server economy, live auctions and a new Engagement Setup

Server economy, live auctions and a new Engagement Setup, ScopliDrop update of April 8, 2026

    Improvements

    • Added more precise error logging around opening the lootbox, so errors are more actionable.

    Economy system

We released a full server economy module. You configure it in Engagement Setup. You can give coins per message and per voice minute, and set a cooldown period for earning coins. You can also set a daily activity cap, the currency name and its emoji (Discord custom emojis are supported).

All economy commands live under /economy: balance, give, coinflip, rps, admingrant and admindeduct. There are a few gambling mechanics for now (Rock Paper Scissors and Coinflip), and way more are coming in the near future.

    Auctions v1

I really like this one. Live auctions let people bid their coins (or whatever you call them), get outbid and basically compete to get whatever you're giving away.

On a basic giveaway, you enter and that's it. With auctions, you have to stick around to make sure you don't lose. You get notifications bringing you back to the server when you're outbid, and people have to talk or play competitive games and gamble against each other to get more coins if they want to win. It's all about rewarding active engagement in a competitive way.

    What's included:

    • Anti-snipe protection. If someone bids in the last minutes, the auction auto-extends and a notification is sent in the channel.
    • An instant buy option. Set a "buy now" price so someone can win immediately.
    • Winner announcements posted automatically in your notification channel.
    • Full dashboard management. Create, end early, redeploy and delete, all from the 3-dot menu on each auction card.
    • Scales with your plan, with 1 active auction on Free, 3 on Premium and unlimited on Business.

    Dashboard changes

Activity tracking and economy configuration now live together in Engagement Setup under Settings (/dashboard/engagement), with two tabs, one for the activity config and one for the economy config. The Economy page itself is now a clean data view with only the leaderboard and transaction history, no more config mixed in.

A lot more updates and additions will be pushed in the next few days to consolidate it, and make it a complete and fully flexible economy module where you can simply turn off the games and mechanics you don't like.

  15. Multiple prizes, Brevo integration and Activity Runners

Multiple prizes, Brevo integration and Activity Runners, ScopliDrop update of March 28, 2026

This week has been intense, but we've got 4 new features and a bunch of improvements here and there to go through. Let's get into it.

    Improvements

Fraud detection overhaul. We removed and consolidated several flag types for better reliability. You should see way fewer false positives now. If someone gets red flagged, you can be 99.99% confident it's actual fraud. You might notice slightly fewer flags overall, but the ones that remain are the ones you can trust.

Performance. Entry portals and entry submissions are both faster.

Support tickets. Support tickets for claiming subs are now completely automated (and so way faster).

    Bug fixes

We grew 2x in a week, which broke a few things. Here's what got patched:

    • Fixed all issues from the recent migration
    • Fixed Vercel's DDoS mitigation kicking in during traffic spikes
    • Fixed rate limiting on entries that was causing "please try entering later" errors when joining a giveaway via Discord
    • Fixed a bug where the bot wouldn't properly track users already in voice channels after a restart

    Lootbox fix

The infamous lootbox bug that caused a mismatch between your spin and your actual prize has been fixed for good. As we suspected, the issue was caused by slow hardware (old phones, old computers, etc.). If you ever run into it again, please open a #support ticket.

    Multiple prizes per giveaway

You can now add different prizes to a single giveaway and set up a prize leaderboard. For example:

    • 🥇 1st winner gets Nitro Boost
    • 🥈 2nd winner gets Basic Nitro
    • 🥉 3rd winner gets a rookie role

Available on all plans. Big thanks to @Whitebeard and @Monomon le Furry for the suggestion.

    Brevo integration

You can now connect ScopliDrop giveaways directly to your Brevo contact list. Every participant who enters their email gets synced automatically, along with their Discord username and Discord ID as attributes. With the Business custom task, you can also configure custom fields linked to Brevo. Super useful if you run a newsletter or plan to do email campaigns.

⚠️ For GDPR purposes, make sure you include an admin note with the task explaining how you'll use participant data.

Available on the Business plan only. Thanks @arigoldstein for the suggestion.

    Activity Lookup and data granularity

The /activitylookup command got a major upgrade.

Period selection. You can now choose the timeframe for your activity graph: 7d, from midnight UTC, rolling 24h, 14d, 30d, or even a fully custom date range.

Detailed recap stats. The stats under the graph now show the exact number of messages, voice minutes and XP earned during the selected timeframe.

New 48h hourly rolling window. ScopliDrop now tracks activity hour by hour over the last 48 hours. This powers the /activitylookup 24h view, and in a future update, you'll be able to create activity requirements based on this hourly granularity.

Available on Premium and above only.

    Activity Runners

This one is big. Activity Runners let you automatically reward the most active users on your server and have your entire community compete in daily runs.

You can set up to 3 daily runs, one for messages, one for voice and one for XP. The top X users in each category earn a special reward role, updated every 5 minutes. If someone outpaces the current leaderboard, they get the role automatically.

    There are two modes:

    • 🔄 Rolling 24h looks back at all activity from the last 24 hours.
    • 🕛 UTC midnight reset resets the counter at midnight UTC, so every day starts fresh.

There's a lot we can build on top of this. For example, a future update will add a channel where daily winners (in UTC reset mode) get permanently recorded, so they can flex their wins or earn special rewards. Really cool idea @Whitebeard, thank you again!

If you come across any bugs or have any questions, feel free to open a #support ticket. I also want to thank you all for your patience during this busy week. I mean it.

  16. Embed giveaways on your website and unique referrals only

Embed giveaways on your website and unique referrals only, ScopliDrop update of March 18, 2026

A small but cool update today!

    Improvements

    • Made the analytics tab more responsive (it's now usable on mobile). Thanks @Jimmy Prehn for pointing it out.
    • You can now duplicate a giveaway template, just like you could already duplicate task templates. Thanks @Jimmy Prehn.
    • You can now override the invite link we automatically generate for each of your giveaways. This lets you choose which channel people land in when they need to join your Discord (for external entries in particular). Thanks @KindaScientist for the idea.

Invite Channel setting in the advanced settings of the giveaway's Discord channel section

Embed your giveaways on your website

You can now embed your ScopliDrop giveaways directly on your websites, and it's available on all plans! Just copy the code for the format you prefer and paste it in, and you get a beautiful embed right on your website (see the video). Participants never leave your site in this flow.

You can choose between inline (looks completely integrated into your page) and modal (opens a popup on top of your website). Thanks @arigoldstein for making me look into it!

    Here's a sample.

    <div id="scoplidrop-widget"></div>
    <script
      src="https://www.scoplidrop.com/embed/widget.js"
      data-giveaway="5L686Q8"
      data-mode="modal"
    ></script>

Embed on Website option in the menu of a giveaway card

    Unique referrals only

You can now turn on a new toggle in the viral share section that only rewards UNIQUE referrals across all your giveaways. This means that if someone already referred a person in a past giveaway and refers them again in a new one, they get 0 entries. If you're pushing referrals hard, this should really help you out. Thanks again @KindaScientist for the suggestion.

Unique Referrals Only toggle in the viral referral settings, with its tooltip

If you notice any bugs or have feature ideas, feel free to share them in #ideas as always, or open a #support ticket.

  17. r/GiveawaysOnDiscord launch and a better free plan

r/GiveawaysOnDiscord launch and a better free plan, ScopliDrop update of March 2, 2026

    r/GiveawaysOnDiscord release

We released a new subreddit with the goal of becoming the #1 place for sharing giveaways. To support this growth and idea, we also created the r/GiveawaysOnDiscord bot, with the goal of bringing a whole new layer of reach to:

    • the subreddit and people looking for giveaways
    • server owners promoting their giveaways on it

As of now, r/GiveawaysOnDiscord reaches 8 servers and 49.7k members. Let's make it big.

    Improvements

    • Made caching and session retrieval on entry portals way more reliable, especially in complex flows where some users would edit, delete and redo their entry. No more "Please properly complete tasks" or "no token available for your tasks" errors when you submit your entries while seeing some tasks as done (unless you're caught by the anti-cheat, of course).
    • The login button on the website now takes one click instead of 2.

The free tier just got better

    • Say goodbye to the "open the lootbox" task in your web task set (at least for now). The web portal stays clean. Instead, we added a small "+1 entry" button on embeds. It's completely optional and gives one additional entry for voting for us. It helps us grow and lets us keep offering the free tier we have, while being as frictionless as possible.
    • Free servers can now schedule giveaways 24 hours in advance (it was 0 before).

    Making people complete more tasks

Some of you might have noticed, but we released an article on how to win Discord giveaways. Its goal is to make your members realize how important it is to complete all the tasks, and how important the referral system (the invite-friends-to-the-giveaway mechanic) is. It also funnels people to r/GiveawaysOnDiscord and the broadcasters page, so I really suggest you make the most of it.

This article is now displayed on every entry success screen, with the goal of educating people and boosting the growth of your servers.

Entry confirmed screen with a link to the guide on how people win giveaways every month

Page section titled 342 reactions, zero growth, listing the problems of react-to-win giveaways

  18. Giveaway analytics, server invite cards and new level commands

Giveaway analytics, server invite cards and new level commands, ScopliDrop update of February 20, 2026

It has been a while since the last update, but this one is huge.

    Improvements

    • Every giveaway now generates an invite link (make sure the bot has the permission to, but that shouldn't be an issue for 98% of servers). We use it on the external entry portal to build trust and make sharing easier. Some people are a bit scared of going straight to a Discord login, so we built a small server card that says "Check out the server first". It shows your server's member count, avatar, name and, most importantly, an invite link so people can join your server first (and enter the giveaway from there if they feel safer).
    • We also added ScopliDrop's Trustpilot rating (4.8/5 stars) near the sharing page call to action to build even more trust. It should help a lot with people who are wary because they don't know the link or the brand.

Entry portal with a Check out the server card showing the host server's name and member count

    New commands

Two new bot commands requested by @🐾 Dante / pup 🍡 (thank you so much).

    • /levelinfo <user> <level> shows what a user still needs to reach a given level (roughly how much XP, how many messages and/or how much voice time).
    • The /givexp command was reworked into a more general /giveactivity, which lets you give XP but also levels. When you give a level, it automatically calculates the XP needed to reach that level and gives it to the user, so there are no discrepancies.

    A small utility

We added a small Discord account age checker to the website. You can use it to check exactly when a Discord ID was created.

Discord Account Age Checker page with a field to enter a Discord user ID

    Analytics v0.5

Now the crispy part. We have a huge set of analytics that should give you really valuable data to improve your giveaway campaigns.

You'll notice a new Analytics tab with 5 subtabs (Overview, Giveaways, Referrals, Activity and Users). Here's what you can now find out.

    Overview tab

    • Stats cards for participants, total giveaways, average completion rate and returning users.
    • A server activity graph that lets you correlate server activity (voice and messages) with participants.
    • An engagement funnel, your conversion funnel. It starts from your total members, then shows how many of them are active (sent messages, had activity or entered giveaways), how many of those are participants (entered at least one giveaway), and how many of those participants are returning (entered 2 or more different giveaways during the period).
    • Entry sources, a pie chart showing whether people entered through the Discord embed, an external share link or a bypass role.
    • Top giveaways by participants, a small recap of your best performing giveaways.

Analytics overview with member stats, a server activity graph and the engagement funnel

    Giveaways tab

    • Participants over time, a stacked graph of entries (Discord embed, external entries and role bypass).
    • Overall entry timing, a small visualization of how quickly participants enter after a giveaway starts. It shows the time between the giveaway start and the entry submission across all giveaways.
    • Entry timing distribution per giveaway, the same thing but per giveaway.
    • Peak entry days show when your audience is the most active. You can view either total entries per day or the average.
    • Peak entry hours, a heatmap of when entries happen by day of the week and hour (UTC). Darker cells mean more entries at that time.
    • Entry mode comparison shows which entry mode performs best on your server (average participants vs completion rate).
    • Task performance by platform shows the completion rate of each task type, grouped by platform, meaning how many participants completed each task out of all who could have.
    • All giveaways, a table of every giveaway you made. Click one to open its details. Quick note though, the detail pages will be completely reworked soon with way more relevant stuff, so don't mind them too much for now.

Giveaways analytics with entry timing, peak entry days and hours, and the entry mode comparison

    Referrals tab

    • Stats cards for total referrals, bonus entries awarded, unique referrers and average per giveaway.
    • Referral activity over time, a graph of all your referrals over time.
    • Top referrers, a leaderboard table of your best referrers.
    • Entry source split, a pie chart of standard entries vs referred entries.

    Activity tab

    • Stats cards for total messages, voice time, active users and XP earned.
    • Activity over time, a graph of your server's message and voice activity over time (max 30 days).
    • Top members by XP, a table of your most active members.
    • Level distribution, a pie chart of how your members are spread across levels.

Activity analytics with message and XP stats, an activity graph, top members by XP and the level distribution

    Users tab

    • Stats cards for total users, participation rate, average level and fraud flag rate.
    • A big users table with every user of your server we have data on. It shows the username, level, XP, messages, voice, number of giveaways entered, total entries (from task completion), completion rate, fraud, referrals and last active date. It even shows their email(s) when available, whether from custom tasks or the email submit task (@Jimmy Prehn).
    • A user details modal (when you click a user) with a complete overview of that user. The profile shows the username, emails, first seen date, last active date, giveaways, entries, task completion rate, number of referred users and XP.
    • 4 subtabs in the user details modal:
      • Activity shows an activity graph of the user (messages and voice) plus stats cards (messages sent, voice time and XP earned).
      • History shows the user's whole giveaway history (with the fraud flag, number of tasks completed, total entries and date for each giveaway). It also has stats cards for the % of giveaways entered since first seen, the % of fraud flags and the task completion rate.
      • Referrals shows every referral this user made and who referred them.
      • Fraud shows linked fraud accounts.

The users tab also supports custom filters! You can build your own conditions to find really specific types of users. A few quick filters are available too, like Lurkers, Giveaway-only, Fraud Risk, High engagement, Referral makers and Has email.

Users analytics with participation and fraud stats above the users table

    Pick your time frame

You know what's best about all of this? You can choose the time frame for any of these stats. Rolling 7 days, 14, 30, 60 or even a custom range (thanks @MythicalNZ for this one).

Available on every plan for 30 days

Analytics are available on ALL PLANS (including free) for the next 30 days. After that, they will only be available to Premium and Business users.

This update is in beta. A lot of improvements can still be made, especially for the analytics of a specific giveaway. Let us know your ideas in #ideas.

  19. Combo tasks that bundle several actions into one

Combo tasks that bundle several actions into one, ScopliDrop update of February 10, 2026

    Improvements

    • Added a "Rename" button to the template settings so templates are easier to rename. Thanks @Jimmy Prehn for noticing the issue.
    • Added a few fixes to the lootbox to make it more resilient and avoid infinite loading.

    Combo task

We added a "Combo task" for Premium users. It lets you create tasks that combine several other tasks, so your participants don't have to go back and forth for tasks that could be completed in one shot.

For example, instead of having 3 separate tasks like these:

    • Watch a YouTube video (15 sec)
    • Like a YouTube video
    • Comment on a YouTube video

    You can have one task:

    • Watch, like and comment on a YouTube video

This should definitely improve participation and conversion rates on large giveaways with 10+ tasks.

Thanks @Jimmy Prehn for the feature idea!

  20. Bypass roles and a cleaner referral stats message

Bypass roles and a cleaner referral stats message, ScopliDrop update of February 9, 2026

    Blog

All our new blog posts are now announced in our community Discord, with a dedicated Blog Ping role you can pick up in Channels & Roles.

The blog will include growth strategies, feature reviews, guides, ToS reviews, updates and much more, all focused around Discord. You can expect a new post every 2 to 4 days.

    Bug fix

If you put an image on a giveaway, it now also stays in the original embed after the giveaway ends. Thanks @RΞSISTANCΞ for the feedback.

    Improvement

We switched our referral system display to Components v2. It now looks way cleaner, clearer and less "spammy" (see the screenshot). It should really improve conversions. Get ready to scale.

@ᗷЯ۝KΞN gave us the hint, thank you.

Referral stats message with the referral link, recent referrals and limited bonuses

    Bypass role

You can now add a "Bypass role" when creating a giveaway. Members with this role automatically bypass all tasks and get the maximum amount of entries (just as if they had completed every task).

The bypass role works both when someone clicks any button on the embed and when the participant comes from the web app through the share link.

Thanks @! Cae❅ for the suggestion!

  21. Add tasks to a live giveaway and our new blog

Add tasks to a live giveaway and our new blog, ScopliDrop update of February 1, 2026

    Our blog is live

We just released the ScopliDrop blog, which will cover growth topics, comparisons, strategies and feature deep dives. Feel free to take a look!

We have one article so far, made for complete beginners, on how to make the most of Discord giveaways. You'll learn how to set up a giveaway, the main features of ScopliDrop and a few tips. We'll update it from time to time. Most of you probably already know these tips, but it's worth a look!

We're open to guest posts (some experience is required) and blog ideas. If you have anything, let us know in #support.

    Giveaway images in link previews

The image you set on a giveaway now appears as the link preview! Thanks @GTAKING © for suggesting it.

Way better image previews are coming in the next updates, as suggested by @Mustafa.

    Add tasks after launch

You can now add tasks retroactively, after the giveaway is launched.

It creates a new mechanic that rewards active users for staying around and looking for new tasks. It's also useful if you missed something during setup, or if a new opportunity came up while the giveaway is running.

When you add a new task, you also get an option to ping your users (the same ping as when the giveaway was first published).

Tasks you add can only be optional, since some participants have already completed the giveaway.

Thanks to @Aerovall for the suggestion!

Manage Tasks window with the original tasks locked and a new task being configured

Add Bonus Tasks confirmation with a Notify participants checkbox

  22. Custom end text, XP commands and reliable voice tracking

Custom end text, XP commands and reliable voice tracking, ScopliDrop update of January 22, 2026

    Lootbox changes

    • Fixed the bug where, in some rare cases, the spin animation could show something different from the actual reward.
    • Lootbox action buttons now disappear once completed, so it's clear where to click next.
    • Made a few optimizations so the page loads faster. It was quite slow, especially on mobile.

    Activity

    • Fixed a bug where selecting levels with a timeframe on the /leaderrank command would show XP.
    • Added /givexp <user>, which lets you give experience to a user. It automatically assigns the matching level as well.
    • Added /resetactivity <user> <scope>, which lets you reset a user's voice time, messages, XP, levels, or all of them.
    • Added /resetactivity <server> <scope>, which does the same for the whole server's stats.
    • Made voice tracking much more reliable and relevant. You now have 2 settings on the dashboard to stop users from earning voice XP while muted and/or deafened. Voice minutes are also added throughout the whole voice session instead of only when the member leaves (this way, no XP is lost if the bot restarts, for example). Thanks @Mustafa for suggesting all these improvements.
    • Added more time filters to /leaderrank. It now has both "this week" (from Monday to now) and "last 7 days" (a rolling 7 days). Same for months. Useful if you want to run monthly events. Thanks @MythicalNZ for the suggestion.

Voice channel restrictions with toggles for no XP when deafened and no XP when muted

    Improvements

    • Made a lot of optimizations here and there. The dashboard and the whole web app should feel snappier and more responsive.

Custom text instead of an end date

You can now set a text instead of an end date. Giveaways with this option never end until you end them manually.

It gives you more flexibility when you're not sure exactly when you want to draw the winners. Useful for streamers who want to "end at the end of the stream", "end after the stream's first game" or whatever you have in mind. Thanks @Aerovall for the suggestion!

Custom Text option in the Winner Selection Time section, with a note that the giveaway must be ended manually

As always, if you have feature ideas, share them with us in #ideas, and open a #support ticket if you run into any kind of bug.

  23. Activity tracking, XP levels and activity-based giveaway tasks

Activity tracking, XP levels and activity-based giveaway tasks, ScopliDrop update of January 20, 2026

ScopliDrop can now track your server's activity, and we definitely didn't do things halfway. Here's the full recap, plus a few more things we improved along the way.

    Activity tracking and XP levels

A brand-new tab lets you enable activity tracking (important, otherwise nothing will be tracked) and fully configure the XP and leveling system.

    • XP per message, XP per voice minute and the XP cooldown
    • Roles rewarded by level
    • Level-up notifications
    • Roles and channels excluded from XP gain

Messages have a 3-second anti-abuse cooldown, which means you can't just spam 15 messages in 3 seconds. Only one of them gets counted. If that's not enough for your server, you can also add channel cooldowns in Discord.

    New commands

    • /leaderrank shows multiple leaderboards ranking members by messages, voice time, XP or level, by day, week or month.
    • /rank shows your personal stats as an image.
    • /activitylookup shows a 14-day activity graph of a member, as an image.

Activity lookup card with a member's level, XP bar and a 14-day graph of messages and voice time

Rank card showing a member's level, server rank, XP progress, messages, voice time and total XP

    Giveaway tasks that reward activity

We're still a giveaway bot with conditions, right? Absolutely, and that's where it gets even better.

This update lets you create unique tasks designed to reward active members and genuinely boost your server's activity. Here are a few examples.

    Messages

    • Send x messages (total)
    • Send at least x messages in the last x days
    • Send at least x messages PER DAY in the last x days

    Voice

    • Stay in voice for at least x time (total)
    • Stay in voice for at least x time in the last x days
    • Stay in voice for at least x time PER DAY in the last x days

    XP and levels

    • Reach level x
    • Collect x XP

Task list of a template with message, voice, level and XP activity tasks

    Bug fixes

    • Fixed a bug where the custom task could make the entry portal laggy, which made interacting with the following modals really difficult.
    • Fixed a bug where the "unique participants" count showed the total participants count instead of truly unique participants across all giveaways (thanks @Jimmy Prehn for noticing it).
    • Made the template builder a bit more responsive on mobile, especially the "free community task" section, which no longer overlaps the task list.

    Improvements

    • Added a few loading indicators so nothing feels laggy, when clicking a giveaway card and on the main overview action buttons.
    • Optimized the entry portal. It should feel faster, especially on mobile!
    • Optimized the giveaway details section, which should also load faster.

    Entry portal timer

We added a timer to the entry portal, so participants know exactly how much time they have left to complete the tasks (thanks again @Jimmy Prehn).

Entry portal countdown showing days, hours, minutes and seconds before the giveaway ends

If you have feature ideas, don't hesitate to share them in #ideas.

  24. Giveaway draft protection and a new clear command

Giveaway draft protection and a new clear command, ScopliDrop update of January 10, 2026

Here's a recap of the latest tweaks. Nothing too crazy, but the next one will be really cool.

    Never lose your giveaway form

We added three layers of protection so you don't lose your giveaway creation form data if the window closes unexpectedly.

    • If you switch tabs during giveaway creation, a popup asks if you're sure you want to leave and offers to save your work as a template to reuse later. It generates the template name for you and saves your unfinished giveaway in the giveaway templates tab.
    • If you refresh the page in your browser, you get a browser warning asking if you're sure you want to proceed.
    • If the window closes unexpectedly, you get a notification asking if you want to restore your data when you come back to the giveaway form.

    Thanks @Infinity!

    New clear command

We added a /clear command that clears all of ScopliDrop's messages in a channel (giveaway embeds and so on). This one comes from @Jimmy Prehn!

    Fixes and improvements

    • Since the last update, some people could open a lootbox without getting any prize. This should be fixed.
    • Slight UI improvements on the Overview tab, so it looks better and more consistent.

As always, if you have any feature suggestions, feel free to share them with us in #ideas!

  25. Custom tasks, email collection and changing giveaway channels

Custom tasks, email collection and changing giveaway channels, ScopliDrop update of January 8, 2026

Four really cool new features today, and the last one is a game changer.

Have role with any of several roles

You can now select multiple roles in the Have role task, and it acts as an "any" (or) condition. The user needs at least one of the roles, whichever it is, to complete the task. The task name then reads like "Have @Founder or @Head Manager role".

Really useful if you have different subscription tiers that users can't hold at the same time.

Have Discord Role task configured with two required roles, shown as Have @testarossa or @OG 2022 Role

    Change channel

You now have the ability to completely change your giveaway's channel! It deletes the embed in the current channel (including the image sent as a separate message, if any) and posts it in the new channel you pick. It also pings users by default.

Really nice if you want to preview your giveaway in a private channel first and then post it in the main channel. Thanks @Majerik.Magicien and @Jimmy Prehn for the idea.

Giveaway card menu with the new Change Channel option

Change Channel dialog to pick a new channel and notify participants

    Email task

There's now a "Provide email" task that lets you collect your participants' email addresses. This is an MVP, so for now it only handles collection, basic validation and a check against a 72k-entry temporary email database. In a future update, it will send verification emails to make sure submissions are accurate. Thanks @Jimmy Prehn and @Infinity!

Fully custom tasks for Business users

Business users can now create their very own task. You choose:

    • the task name,
    • the task icon (92 icons are available),
    • the verification method.

    There are three verification methods.

    • Simple honor is an honor-based link visit, like the Visit website task.
    • Data direct lets users submit data directly through your custom fields, without visiting an external link. Simple and straightforward data collection. You could ask for emails, usernames, an opinion or anything else. (We'll have a proper task for surveys in a future update.)
    • Data post-link has users visit your link first, then come back to submit data through your custom fields. Perfect for collecting order IDs, confirmation codes or other proof of action.

You have complete freedom and flexibility over what you want to do. This feature opens tons of possibilities across thousands of different platforms, from games to business. Thanks to @Infinity for the suggestion!

Custom task configuration with a task name and an icon picker of 92 icons

Custom task shown to a participant with an admin note and the link they will be redirected to

Custom task form asking the participant for an email address and an order ID

    Bug fixes and improvements

    • Fixed a bug where deleting a giveaway would delete the embed but not the image when it was sent as a separate message.
    • Improved the task configuration UI with clearer separation and a better design.
    • Added an optional custom note field on the Visit website task.
    • You can now also edit custom notes in the giveaway editor.

And as always, if you have any feature idea, we're open to it. Feel free to share it in #support or #ideas.

  26. Role blacklist, giveaway extensions and Facebook tasks

Role blacklist, giveaway extensions and Facebook tasks, ScopliDrop update of January 6, 2026

Quite a few UX improvements and small new features here and there, including one that was requested quite a few times.

    Role blacklist is here

This one was requested quite a few times. You can now completely block entry for a specific role.

If a user tries to enter while having this role, they immediately get a message saying they have a blacklisted role. It works for both entries on Discord (the embed's button) and external entries (share links and referrals).

To prevent abuse, the blacklist check happens at entry. If you give a blacklisted role to a user after they entered, they're still eligible for winner selection.

Thanks @Cyp97, @Mustafa, @Monomon le Furry and another community member for this feature idea.

Blacklist Roles field in the Participants & Winners section of the giveaway form

    Small new features

    Extend your giveaway

We added a button to extend your giveaway's duration. It immediately updates your giveaway embed and sends a message in the same channel saying the giveaway was extended. By default, it also pings the roles that were pinged when the giveaway was first posted. I recommend keeping that enabled, since informing participants is much friendlier than silently changing the duration. Thanks @Jimmy Prehn for the idea!

Giveaway card menu with the new Extend Giveaway and Adjust Participant Limits options

Extend Giveaway dialog with quick extend buttons, a custom end time and a Notify participants option

    Adjust participant limits

We added a button to adjust participant limits. It only appears when you've set a minimum participant count, and lets you either drop the minimum entirely or lower it. Thanks again @Jimmy Prehn.

To prevent abuse, you can only lower it, never raise it. Raising it would break the agreement between you and participants when they joined.

Participant Limits dialog to lower or disable the minimum participant requirement

    Facebook tasks

We added a few new Facebook tasks (watch Facebook reels, watch a stream, like a post, comment on a post...). Feel free to check them out. Thanks @Jimmy Prehn!

    Fixes and improvements

    • Manually ending a giveaway early when it has a minimum participant count now drops the minimum and selects winners. Still thanking @Jimmy Prehn for the suggestion.
    • If your giveaway ended without reaching the minimum participant count, you now have an option to select winners anyway (see the screenshot below). It runs a reroll that drops the minimum. Well... it's @Jimmy Prehn again, thanks!
    • /reroll <giveaway ID> now completely ignores the minimum participant count, just like the option above. We think that if you run it on purpose after a giveaway ended without reaching the minimum, it means you want winners.
    • Ended giveaway cards now show the end date, which should help tell ended giveaways apart. (Yes, it's @Jimmy Prehn again.)

Minimum Participants Not Met panel with a Drop Minimum & Select Winners button

If you run into bugs or have feature suggestions, let us know in #support or #ideas!

  27. Discord in-app requirements and fewer fraud false positives

Discord in-app requirements and fewer fraud false positives, ScopliDrop update of January 5, 2026

New mode with Discord in-app requirements

This mode runs entirely inside Discord, with no web app.

    How it works

    1. Requirements must be completed to join the giveaway.
    2. Participants click the "Enter giveaway" button, and the bot checks through the API whether the tasks are properly completed.
    3. If they aren't, the user gets an error message explaining how to complete them.

    Three tasks for now

    • Join Discord requires participants to be members of a specific Discord server to enter the giveaway. This task unlocks many partnership opportunities and significantly reduces spam.
    • Have Discord role requires participants to already have a specific role. Useful if you have level or VIP roles and want to run giveaways just for them.
    • Claim Discord role has the bot automatically give the user a role. Great for notification roles, for example!

Role claim task split in two

The Discord role claim task has been retired and split into two tasks, Have Discord role and Claim Discord role. They work exactly like before, they're just clearer for you and your participants.

Existing giveaways with the role claim task will not be affected by this change. However, we recommend checking your templates to make sure their role claim tasks were properly migrated.

    Anti-fraud

The anti-fraud just got much more reliable, especially similar hardware detection, which tended to have a few false positives. Flags are now more accurate, and if you had any false positives in your giveaways, most of them should be gone for good.

We'll keep monitoring the anti-fraud over the next few weeks and push new updates from time to time!

  28. Redesigned mobile entry page and a new quickstart command

Redesigned mobile entry page and a new quickstart command, ScopliDrop update of December 31, 2025

Two updates to close the year.

A new entry page on mobile

The entry portal now looks WAY better on mobile phones. The first screenshot is the old look (yeah... it needed some rework), the second one is the new look. Both are from the same small phone (iPhone SE).

Old mobile entry page where each bonus task name wraps over several lines

New mobile entry page with compact single-line bonus tasks

    Quickstart replaces help

We removed the /help command and replaced it with /quickstart. It's much more detailed and should get anyone wondering how to use the bot on the right track.

    Improvements

    • Fixed a few glitchy animations across the app.
    • Added a small convenience button on task templates that opens the giveaway creation form with that template.
    • Added the community listing option to schedules. As a reminder, when it's enabled, your giveaway is automatically posted and promoted in #community-giveaways in our Discord.
    • Made a huge code refactor so features are no longer lost on schedules or templates. This should prevent this kind of issue in the future.

    Bug fixes

    • Fixed a bug where some features were not kept on schedules (remove branding, minimum participants...).
    • Fixed a bug where the description was not kept on giveaway templates.
    • Fixed a few inconsistencies in retroactive anti-fraud flagging. Retroactive flags should now be more reliable.
    • Fixed the statistics in /leaderpoints and /leadervotes. They now correctly reflect global counts.
    • Fixed a bug where the community listing modal would not close.

  29. Unlimited scheduling on Business and fewer fraud false flags

Unlimited scheduling on Business and fewer fraud false flags, ScopliDrop update of December 30, 2025

    Anti-fraud

    • "Hardware match" has always been the detection most prone to false positives. After weeks of monitoring, we made a few adjustments that take new data points into account. It should now be much more reliable, with far fewer false positives.
    • Fixed a small bug where people joining taskless giveaways through a referral link could be flagged for suspicious activity even when they were clean.

    Scheduling

Business users can now schedule giveaways as far in advance as they want! Premium users can still schedule up to 30 days in advance.

    Improvements

    • Added some form validation during giveaway creation to avoid common mistakes.
    • Fixed a bug where rerolls would not use your custom bot profile when you had one set.

  30. Mobile dashboard rework and 10x lootbox multipliers

Mobile dashboard rework and 10x lootbox multipliers, ScopliDrop update of December 29, 2025

    A better dashboard on mobile

We made a lot of fixes and UI changes to make the site more enjoyable and easier to use on mobile.

    • The giveaway creation form got a big rework on mobile, and every broken component has been fixed.
    • Recent giveaways on the main dashboard tab now render correctly, even when the prize name is very long.
    • The Schedule tab, and especially the calendar, was reworked to work seamlessly on mobile.
    • The profile dropdown (when you click your avatar) now displays correctly on mobile.
    • Profile and inventory were also reworked to work perfectly on mobile.

    Lootbox multipliers

We added an exclusive 10x multiplier to the Christmas lootbox.

Join #official-giveaways in our Discord for a chance to win one of five 10x multipliers!

  31. Minimum required participants for giveaways

Minimum required participants for giveaways, ScopliDrop update of December 28, 2025

    Minimum required participants

You can now set a minimum number of required participants per giveaway! If your giveaway has 12 participants while you required 20, no winners are picked. You'll find it in the Security & fairness section of giveaway creation.

⚠️ Use it with caution. Participants might get disappointed if the minimum is regularly not reached, so stay realistic if you use it.

Thank you so much for this suggestion @Mustafa!

Minimum Participation Requirement setting in the Security & Fairness section of the giveaway form

Giveaway embed showing the participant count next to a 5 minimum

Key terms on the entry page listing the minimum participants required before winners are selected

Giveaway ended embed saying the minimum participation requirement was not met

    Fixes

    • Fixed a bug where role pings were not kept on giveaway templates.
    • Fixed some false positive edge cases in the anti-fraud bot detection, where a few very specific desktop devices could get flagged as bots when they weren't. It now checks new data points to confirm.

  32. Manager roles and winner badges in the participant list

Manager roles and winner badges in the participant list, ScopliDrop update of December 27, 2025

    Role-based access

Happy to introduce role-based access! You can now give manager permissions to any role on your Discord server.

These roles get full manager access, just like admins, and can use the bot just like you. More granular permissions will come in the next updates.

Server card on the server picker with a Role-based access badge

Server Permissions page with the Manager Roles list and an Add Manager Role picker

    Improvements

    • Made the giveaway cards in /dashboard/giveaways more responsive on small screens, especially tablets.
    • Added winner badges in the participant list.

Participant list with Winner badges next to the winners' names

    Bug fixes

    • Fixed a bug where full winner data could be missing from the winner cards (in the giveaway details after the giveaway ends) while still showing in the participant list.

If you notice any bug with this feature, don't hesitate to report it in a support ticket. For feature ideas, head to #ideas.

  33. Referral entries in taskless giveaways and a fraud filter

Referral entries in taskless giveaways and a fraud filter, ScopliDrop update of December 24, 2025

    Referrals in taskless giveaways

This one is quite cool and unlocks new mechanics for your giveaways! Our taskless mode now works with our referral system.

    What it means

You can now run giveaways completely focused on Discord member growth. Inviting people becomes the main way to get extra entries. A standard entry gives you one entry, and you can set each referral to give between 1 and 100 entries. The more people you invite, the more chances you have to win!

Taskless giveaway embed with an Enter Giveaway button and a +20 entries per referral button

    How it works

After entering, you can click the "+x entries per referral" button on the giveaway embed. It gives you your referral link and an overview of how you've done so far.

Referral link with referral stats and recent referrals in Discord

When someone clicks your link, they land on a clean page of the web app that asks them to log in with Discord to join the giveaway, with a short overview of the giveaway. Once they log in, the bot automatically adds them to your server and credits the referral.

Welcome page inviting a referred user to continue with Discord to enter the giveaway

Admins can see who joined through a referral in the participants table!

Participants table with a Referred badge next to a participant

    Bug fixes and improvements

    • Deployed a few patches to yesterday's "update entry" feature so it works as intended on all devices.
    • Fixed a bug where participant table pagination and filtering would struggle on really large giveaways.
    • Added a new filter on the participant table to filter by fraud flags (all, clean, flagged, red, yellow).

If you have ideas, feel free to share them in #ideas.

  34. Christmas update with reroll in Discord and editable entries

Christmas update with reroll in Discord and editable entries, ScopliDrop update of December 23, 2025

Really excited to bring you this huge Christmas update. Let me spoil it for you, ScopliDrop just got insanely better.

    New bot commands

    • /end <giveaway ID> lets you end a giveaway early, directly from Discord. A giveaway ID looks like 3e5aa928-f21c-4068-a4d8-b8f331b70c4 and you can find it in the footer of your giveaway embed.
    • /reroll <giveaway ID> lets you reroll one winner, several specific winners or all of them. We made it completely flexible, so you get the same flexibility as on the panel. No need to type user IDs, the command lists all the winners in a multi-select menu.
    • /rps is a new way to gamble your points! You can now play rock paper scissors with anyone. It's not only about a 50/50 coinflip anymore. We're talking mind games and true skill.

We also fixed /coinflip. A challenge now stays open for 5 minutes instead of 1 minute before expiring, and its message is edited automatically when it expires, without anyone having to interact with it.

    Enhancements

We had this (quite ugly) confirmation message when someone entered a giveaway without completing tasks. It hadn't been touched since ScopliDrop v0.0.1.

    🎉 Entry Successful!

    📊 Your Entries: 1 ⏰ Ends: in a day

    Good luck! 🍀

It's now replaced with a clean, simple message.

✅ You're in! Winner drawn in x day

/giveaway tasks and /giveaway flexible have been merged into a single command, /giveaway from template. It was completely rewritten to use full giveaway templates instead of task templates, which gives you much more flexibility directly within Discord. When you run the command, you get a dropdown to pick your template. Once you've picked one, a modal opens with two prefilled fields you can edit on the spot. You can now deploy a complete giveaway configuration in just two clicks, without ever leaving Discord.

Template picker dropdown from the /giveaway command in Discord

    New features

    Optional entry confirmation

In flexible mode, we had a rather pushy confirmation message when users clicked "Enter giveaway" (entering without completing tasks).

You want to enter the giveaway with only one chance of winning. Are you sure? [Yes I'm sure] / [No, get x more chances of winning]

The second button redirected to the task page. That message was designed to improve task completion in flexible mode, but in some cases flexibility should also mean not feeling pushy. You can now choose whether to show this message in the "Embed customization" section of giveaway creation.

This option is off by default. If you want to keep the current behavior, make sure to enable it for your next giveaways. Thanks @Arno for this one!

    Remove your entry

Participants can now remove their entry by clicking the entry button again. They get an option to do so and a confirmation step. Once confirmed, their entry is fully deleted from the giveaway, and the participant count on the embed updates automatically. This is useful when someone makes a mistake, misses the conditions or runs into other edge cases. Thanks again to @Arno for this improvement, much appreciated.

    Update your entry

Participants can now also update their entry. They can complete a few tasks, submit, and come back later if they decide to do more tasks for more entries! Pretty cool to maximize task completion.

Remove Entry and Update Entry buttons for a participant who already entered

If you have suggestions, feel free to share them with us in #support or #ideas. If you notice any bugs, let us know as soon as possible in #support.

  35. Winner cooldown between giveaways and lootbox fixes

Winner cooldown between giveaways and lootbox fixes, ScopliDrop update of December 20, 2025

    Winner cooldown

Premium and Business users can now set a winner cooldown. This means that anyone who has won in the last x days (depending on your configuration) won't be eligible for winner selection. A great feature if you want to show off your product to more people!

If enabled, a key term explaining it appears for participants (see the second screenshot).

Winner Cooldown Period toggle set to 60 days in the Security & Fairness section of the giveaway form

Winner cooldown key term on the giveaway entry page, naming the server and the 60 day period

    Bug fixes

    • Fixed a bug where you could briefly see old data (for half a second) when opening a tab (templates, for example), especially if someone else on your team had deleted something.
    • Fixed a bug where logging in on the lootbox page would redirect you to /servers instead of the lootbox page.
    • Fixed a bug where the lootbox could sometimes ask you to log in again for no reason before opening.
    • Fixed a bug where Google Translate could crash the entire lootbox page. This caused "client side exception" white screens on some really specific devices. Thanks a lot @cyber and @👾EditSP07C👾 for your help on the matter.

  36. Reroll several winners at once and follow the giveaway feed

Reroll several winners at once and follow the giveaway feed, ScopliDrop update of December 19, 2025

    Reroll several winners at once

You can now select multiple winners to reroll (instead of just one or all, as before). The reroll message in Discord also looks different to reflect these partial rerolls (see the screenshots below).

Winners list on the giveaway page with two winners checked and a Reroll Selected button

Partial reroll message in Discord showing the replaced winner and the new one

    Giveaway listing tweaks

The community giveaways channel in our Discord is now an announcement channel, which means you can follow it and get the feed broadcast directly inside your own Discord server! The old channel is now deprecated but will stay for a few days, until its current giveaways end.

Also, when a listed giveaway ends, its listed embed now switches to an ended state (greyish), so it's easier for everyone to browse and tell active and ended giveaways apart.

  37. Remove ScopliDrop branding on the Business plan

Remove ScopliDrop branding on the Business plan, ScopliDrop update of December 11, 2025

    Remove ScopliDrop branding

Business users can now hide all ScopliDrop branding, which includes:

    • "Powered by ScopliDrop" on the giveaway bot embed
    • "Powered by ScopliDrop" on the web app entry page
    • the free lootbox suggestion after an entry is submitted

While we believe these really light badges can act as trust indicators as our brand grows, we understand that some of our Business users want more white labeling. Thanks @Midnight for the suggestion!

Remove Branding toggle in the Additional Embed Customization section of the giveaway form

    Bug fixes

    • Fixed a bug where the "as a separate message" image setting wasn't kept when using a bot profile.
    • Fixed a bug where pings weren't kept when the giveaway embed got updated.
    • Fixed a bug where a manually given subscription could never expire.

  38. Meta wishlist task and role pings on giveaways

Meta wishlist task and role pings on giveaways, ScopliDrop update of December 7, 2025

Updates are back! Here's what we shipped between yesterday and today.

    New features

    Add to Meta wishlist task

We added a new task, Add to Meta wishlist. It's available with the basic verification only, because Meta doesn't support anything more on that side. It's about adding games like Gorilla Tag on the Meta store to a wishlist, to help developers grow there. If you want to push participation, feel free to create a channel in your Discord called "proof submission" or similar, and ask your users to submit proof screenshots there (if there's no screenshot during proof submission, say that you will reroll). Thanks to @🦑🐙 ᙃɾᥱᥲᑯꙆoᥴƙtoρᥙ⳽ 🐙🦑 for the suggestion!

    Role pings

We added a new role ping feature that lets you ping one or more roles, including everyone, in the same message as the giveaway embed. You'll find it in the embed customization section when creating a giveaway. This way you can make your templates even more complete and reusable in one shot. Thanks @ᗷЯ۝KΞN for this one.

Make sure the bot has the permission to ping roles.

Additional Embed Customization section in the giveaway creation form

Role Pings settings with two roles selected to ping when the giveaway is posted

Giveaway posted in Discord with the selected roles pinged above the embed

    Improvements

    • We successfully upgraded from Next.js 15 to Next.js 16, which gave a great performance boost.
    • Stats now show small badges with the channel name each task was configured with.

    Bug fixes

    • Fixed a bug in the stats where, if you had 4 similar tasks with different channels, a participant who completed one of them would show as having completed all 4. You can refresh your stats, they should look all clean. Thanks @Cyp97 for reporting it.
    • Fixed a bug where you couldn't post giveaways in announcement channels. Thanks @Hugo_007_ for the report.

If any of you have suggestions, feel free to share them in #ideas or open a new #support ticket!

  39. Edit giveaway images and their placement after posting

Edit giveaway images and their placement after posting, ScopliDrop update of November 3, 2025

A small update to giveaway editing:

    • You can now edit image links after the giveaway is posted.
    • You can also change the image placement again (separate message at the top, or inside the giveaway embed at the bottom).

  40. Giveaway templates to relaunch your best setups

Giveaway templates to relaunch your best setups, ScopliDrop update of October 29, 2025

Giveaway templates are finally here! You can now save your best performing giveaway setups and launch them again with a single click.

    How giveaway templates work

    • The Task Template tab is now called Template Hub.
    • From there, you can now manage both task templates and giveaway templates.
    • When creating a giveaway, you'll notice a few new buttons:
      • Load Template (top right) instantly loads a saved template in one click.
      • Save Template (bottom left of the form) saves your current giveaway setup so you can reuse it later.
    • On your active giveaways, there's now a new Save as Template option in the management dropdown, perfect to save any live setup as a template.

Manage all your templates in the Template Hub. Keep in mind this update is in beta, so please report any bugs in #support.

  41. Referral system and anti-fraud flags in beta

Referral system and anti-fraud flags in beta, ScopliDrop update of October 12, 2025

Two big features land today, both in beta: a referral system for participants and a new anti-fraud system.

    Referral system

Participants can now invite friends to join giveaways and earn bonus entries for each successful referral.

    Key features

    • A dynamic referral button on the giveaway embed, showing "+x entry per referral".
    • A personal referral link for each participant, with its own tracking.
    • Auto join, so referred users automatically join your Discord server when they participate.
    • A referral dashboard where users can track their stats, referrals and earned entries.

Entry confirmation page with a card to copy a referral link and earn 5 more entries per referral

    FOMO mode

    • Set a global referral cap across all participants.
    • The button updates to show "only x left".
    • It creates urgency while preventing unlimited referral farming.

    New commands

    • /refleaders <?period> shows the top referrers (weekly, monthly or lifetime).
    • /reflookup <@user> <?giveawayId> checks anyone's referral stats.
    • /refgw <giveawayId> shows the referral leaderboard of a specific giveaway (admin only).

    Analytics

    • Total referral count per giveaway
    • Individual referral tracking with completion details
    • Full visibility on the referral funnel

    Anti-fraud system

    Flags

    • A yellow flag is a warning about suspicious activity, with no penalty. It can be a false alert.
    • A red flag means 98%+ certainty of fraud. The account is soft banned from the giveaway (excluded from winner selection).

    What it detects

    • Multiple accounts (IP and more)
    • Bot accounts
    • Fraud rings (Business only)

    Fraud rings (Business)

    • View all linked accounts of a flagged user
    • See detailed flag reasons
    • A full visualization of the fraud network

Participants overview with referral and fraud flag totals, and a Red or Clean fraud status for each participant

    Good to know

    • Flags only apply to web app entries (not taskless entries).
    • Flagged accounts can't see they've been detected (soft ban approach).
    • In case of a false positive, you can remove the flag.
    • Connected accounts are automatically flagged together.

This update is in beta, so please report any bugs right away!

    Fewer false bot flags

Since the fraud flagging update is still new, don't hesitate to open a #support ticket if you need more information about a flag and want to check with us whether it's really justified. From what we've seen so far, bot flagging was slightly too prone to false positives, so we're rolling out an update that lowers the bot detection thresholds. No worries, in the worst case real humans should only have received yellow flags.

  42. Viral share links and coinflip with lootbox points

Viral share links and coinflip with lootbox points, ScopliDrop update of October 2, 2025

Here's a summary of what we released yesterday, plus a few new ways to use your lootbox points.

    Viral share links

We released viral share, and you can find your link on the giveaway cards in your giveaways dashboard.

    How it works

    1. Each time you create a giveaway, we generate a random code for it.
    2. You can then share that auto generated link anywhere (YouTube, Twitter, however you like it!).
    3. People entering from it are asked to log in with Discord. Good news, people who log in this way automatically join your Discord server.

Share link landing page asking visitors to continue with Discord to enter the giveaway

We don't like doing things halfway at ScopliDrop, so here are a few more notes:

    • You can now track how many people entered through your share link vs the giveaway embed in the giveaway details.
    • We added a new optional security requirement, 2FA enabled. It only works on external entries, and unless you're really having bot issues, I don't recommend it, as it's really strict. If any of you run into botting problems, please let me know and we'll implement stronger measures.
    • We added a clear how it works section for people entering from external links, to make the concept crystal clear and reduce churn.
    • Your active giveaway embeds now also have a Share button so users can share them easily.
    • Good news for Business users, you can fully customize and create your own giveaway share link!

    Bug fix

    • Fixed a bug where bot commands wouldn't work properly for Premium users.

    Play with your lootbox points

You can now gamble your lootbox points with other users and try to become the richest out there, until we release our premium lootbox!

    • /coinflip @user numberOfPoints heads/tails lets you choose heads or tails and challenge a user. It's a 50/50 to win or lose.
    • /balance @user shows the balance of any user on the server.
    • /give @user is for the most generous of you, to give your points to another user.
    • /leaderpoints is a simple command to see who's the richest out there.

    Open the lootbox task

The mandatory upvote task for free users has been replaced by an "Open the lootbox" task. It should be way more engaging for your users, giving them another chance to win prizes.

  43. Winner announcement channel and cleaner ending messages

Winner announcement channel and cleaner ending messages, ScopliDrop update of September 18, 2025

A small update today about what happens when a giveaway ends.

Post winners in a different channel

You can now choose a different channel for the winner message. This way you can properly separate things and keep your channels much cleaner and organized.

    Cleaner ending messages

    • Removed the 🏆 GIVEAWAY WINNERS ANNOUNCED 🏆 message. Instead, the winner list now starts with "Congratulations", which looks much cleaner.
    • Made some adjustments to the active giveaway message that gets edited at the end. We removed 2 useless separators and the footer with the giveaway ID (it's now only on the winner message). The message is now much smaller and compact, like a card. We also slightly restructured it so it looks more like the original active message.

    Bug fix

    • When using custom profiles, the active giveaway embed that was supposed to be edited at the end wasn't. It now is.

  44. Hidden referrer on external links and bug fixes

Hidden referrer on external links and bug fixes, ScopliDrop update of September 15, 2025

A small update today, focused on security.

Hiding where your traffic comes from

Every time your participants are redirected to an external link (website, YouTube, any other social media), we now use advanced referrer spoofing methods.

If you're not familiar with the referrer, here's a quick explanation. When you navigate between pages on the internet, some websites (including social platforms) can see the referrer, which is the website or page you came from before you arrived on theirs. It can be used to detect suspicious traffic or manipulation attempts.

Now, when your participants are redirected, target platforms have no way to know the traffic comes from ScopliDrop, and treat it as direct traffic. We already had a few things in place and working, but this update takes it to the next level.

The goal is to avoid any unnecessary problems with social platforms or any other site you might think of.

    Bugs fixed

    • Fixed a bug where, if a Premium user activated a server and someone else (not Premium) used that server activation, they couldn't create more than 3 templates.
    • Fixed a bug where you could post a task based giveaway with Discord commands without any mandatory task, which left an empty field on the giveaway embed and caused a few other issues.
    • Fixed a bug where, if a free user tried to create a new giveaway while they already had one active with tasks, the "New giveaway" button could get stuck loading forever.
    • The Auto assign verification mode of the Claim a role task is now disabled for roles Discord assigns automatically (like Server Booster), because it couldn't have worked for participants anyway.

  45. Claim a role task across servers and smarter invite links

Claim a role task across servers and smarter invite links, ScopliDrop update of September 14, 2025

We're shipping a lot of small daily updates, so we're changing the format of these notes. From now on I'll write them so they flow more naturally.

    Claim a role task

This update brings a lot of improvements to the Claim a role task:

    • A new verification method, Auto assign. The bot needs the Manage Roles permission for it, which we didn't require until now.
    • Roles are fetched directly through the API, so you can select them right in the config.
    • Cross server mode lets you ask participants to claim a role in another server. It handles the invite to the target server as well as the role verification. Auto assign is disabled in cross server mode, for obvious security reasons.
    • The role now gets pinged in the giveaway embed using Discord's role mention format.

    Discord bot

    • Supports /giveaway flexible for flexible mode.
    • Now also prevents you from fetching templates that aren't configured.

    Web app speed and fixes

    • Creating a giveaway (when you click the final post button) is now way faster.
    • Fixed a bug where the small creator badge on templates (showing who created the template) wouldn't appear right after creating a template, only after a manual refresh. If it's not there yet, refresh your templates with the built-in refresh button.
    • Invite generation for tasks that need one is now much smarter. Invites get a dynamic expiration time based on how long your giveaway is supposed to last (if it's more than one week, Discord limitations mean we generate a permanent invite). If anything goes wrong with permissions, you'll get a warning when creating the giveaway, and you can regenerate the invite from the giveaway edit panel.

    In case you missed it

    You can now:

    • add images to your giveaways
    • edit links (including Discord invites) in your giveaways

Special thanks to @liltoby for sharing their ideas in #ideas. Feel free to do the same, we're listening to everything!
