End, Extend, or Reroll Your Discord Giveaway After Launch

Your Discord giveaway stays editable after it goes live. End it early, add time, move it, or reroll a winner after the draw, from the dashboard or with a slash command.

A ScopliDrop giveaway stays editable after it is posted in your Discord server. While it runs, you can end it early, extend the deadline, move it to another channel, edit the post, add bonus tasks, or lower the minimum participants. After the draw, you can reroll one winner, several, or all of them.

Everything sits in the giveaway's Actions menu on the dashboard, and ending, extending, moving and rerolling also work as slash commands. Entries are kept through every change, and the bot updates the giveaway's message for you.

Every Control You Keep After Launch

From the moment the giveaway is posted until well after the draw

End the giveaway early

Dashboard or /end

Choose End & Select Winner in the giveaway's Actions menu, or run /end in your server. Entries close at once, the winners are drawn, and the winner announcement posts in Discord. It works on every giveaway, whether it was set to end on a date, on a custom end text, or at a participant cap.

If a minimum participant count is set and not reached, the dashboard shows how many people joined and the button becomes Drop Minimum & End. The /end command always draws.

Use it when the goal is hit early and you want the winners announced while everyone is still watching.

Extend the deadline

Dashboard or /extend

Add 30 minutes, an hour, two hours, six hours or a day in one click, or pick any new end time. In Discord, /extend adds anything from 1 minute to 30 days per command.

The bot posts an Extended notice with the new end time and an Enter link, and the original message updates to match. Turn on Notify participants to ping the roles the giveaway first pinged. Extending applies to giveaways that end on a date. A giveaway set to a custom end text or a participant cap has no date to move, so it ends when you end it or when the cap fills.

Use it when entries are slow and one more weekend would bring the rest of your server in.

Move it to another channel

Dashboard or /changechannel

Pick a new channel in Channel Settings, or run /changechannel. The bot removes the giveaway from the old channel and posts it fresh in the new one, with every entry carried over. Turn on Notify participants to ping your roles again in the new channel.

The same window sets a separate channel for winner announcements, so the draw can land in your announcements channel while entries stay in the giveaway channel. On the dashboard, a teammate can only move a giveaway into channels their role is allowed to use.

Use it when a giveaway went to the wrong channel, or deserves a bigger one halfway through.

Choose Edit to change the description, the image and its position, the thumbnail, and the task links and notes. It can also generate a fresh Discord invite for a join task. The prize stays as announced, so everyone who entered knows exactly what they are playing for. Image changes show in Discord after a Redeploy.

Add Tasks appends new tasks as optional bonus entries on Web Task-based and Flexible giveaways. Everyone already in can complete them for extra entries, and the bot can post a New Tasks Added notice that pings your roles. The tasks people already did stay exactly as they were.

Use it when a giveaway stalls and a new bonus task gives everyone a reason to come back.

If a giveaway needs a minimum number of participants before it draws, Adjust Participant Limits lowers that number or switches it off. It only ever goes down, so nobody who entered sees the bar raised on them halfway through.

A giveaway that ends short of its minimum closes without winners. Its Winners tab then offers Drop Minimum & Select Winners whenever you decide to draw anyway.

Use it when the minimum you set was ambitious and you still want the prize to go out.

Once a giveaway has ended, its Winners tab lets you select the winners to replace and press Reroll Selected, or replace everyone with Reroll All Winners. In Discord, /reroll gives you one button to replace every winner and, when there are several, a menu to pick specific ones.

A reroll always draws someone new. Current winners sit out. The replacement comes from the same weighted draw as the original, under the same rules, winner cooldowns included. Each replacement takes over the slot it fills, so a prize set for second place stays with second place. Role rewards move from the old winner to the new one, and a prize pool code the old winner never received goes back into the pool.

The announcement shows each replaced winner next to their replacement. When a winner's screenshot proof does not hold up, Reject and reroll replaces them straight from the screenshot review and keeps them out of every later reroll of that giveaway. A winner who never claims is handled for you. Claim tickets reroll no-shows on their own when the claim deadline passes.

Use it when a winner broke your rules, left the server, or turned out to be an alt.

Redeploy posts the giveaway to Discord again, or its winner announcement once it has ended. Delete removes the giveaway and its Discord message and returns any reserved prize pool codes to the pool. Deleting takes the separate Delete any giveaway permission.

Use it when the giveaway message went missing, or a test giveaway should disappear.

Every control keeps the entries already collected. The four commands take the giveaway's ID, which Copy ID in the Actions menu puts on your clipboard.

How Every Control Works

The three things that are true of all of them

  1. 1

Pick the control from the Actions menu, or run the command in Discord

Every giveaway on the dashboard has an Actions menu, and its Winners tab holds the reroll controls. In Discord, /end, /extend, /changechannel and /reroll take the giveaway's ID, and each command only acts on giveaways from the server it runs in.

Members whose role has the Edit any giveaway permission can use them, along with Discord Administrators and Manage Server members. On the dashboard, a giveaway's creator can always manage their own giveaway. You decide who gets what in role permissions.

  2. 2

Choose whether to ping your roles

Extensions, channel moves and new bonus tasks come with a Notify participants switch. It pings the roles the giveaway pinged when it was first posted. Ends and rerolls always post their announcement, because the winners need to see it.

  3. 3

Discord updates, and the change is recorded

For ends, rerolls and channel moves, the bot posts to Discord before anything is saved. If Discord refuses, for example because the bot lost a permission in that channel, nothing changes. Run it again once the permission is back.

Ends, extensions, rerolls, channel moves, edits and deletions land in the server audit log with who ran them and whether it came from the dashboard or a Discord command. A reroll entry also names the winners who were rerolled out.

Keep Every Entry When a Giveaway Needs Fixing

A mistake after launch costs you a click, not your entrants

Giveaways rarely run exactly to plan. One lands in the wrong channel, entries come in slower than you hoped, or a winner turns out to be an alt. Each of these is fixed in place, so the giveaway keeps its message, its entrants and the momentum you built, and nobody is asked to enter twice.

A bad winner is a one-slot fix. Reroll that slot and the replacement comes from the same draw, takes over the same prize, and receives the role reward the old winner loses. A prize pool code the old winner never received goes back into the pool.

It also works without you online. Moderators with the Edit any giveaway permission can end, extend, move or reroll straight from Discord, and each of those actions lands in the audit log under their name.
