Run an Activity Competition Where Your Members Race for Prizes

Pick the dates and the prizes, and your Discord members race to be the most active. The bot announces the start, keeps a live board, and pays the winners when it ends.

An Activity Mania competition is a race with a start and a finish line. For the window you set, every coin a member earns by chatting, talking in voice or playing minigames counts toward their place on the board. When it ends, the top ranks win the prizes you picked for them.

Everyone starts at zero, so the members who topped last month get no head start. Anyone can check the standings and their own rank with /activitymania at any time. The bot posts the start, posts the results, and pays the coin and role prizes itself.

How It Works

You pick the dates and prizes, then the bot runs every step from the start post to the payout

  1. 1

Pick the dates and what each rank wins

Set a start and an end in your server's timezone, or start right away. The start can sit up to a day in the past, so a competition you set up late still counts the activity that already happened.

Choose how many members win and what each rank gets: coins, a Discord role, a prize you describe like Nitro, or a mix. Then pick the channel where the bot announces the race, and add a rules channel if you have one.

Competitions rank members by the coins your server economy pays out, so they run once the economy is switched on.

  2. 2

Decide what counts as a fair race

Members climb with the coins they earn from chat, voice, Activity Runners and minigames. Minigame results count up to a limit you set, for losses as well as wins, so one lucky night can't decide the race.

Staff grants, giveaway and level rewards, and coins passed with /give stay out of the score. Spending never lowers it, so members keep using the shop and auctions during the race.

A minimum Discord account age keeps brand new accounts off the board, and an excluded list takes out staff, bots and test accounts.

  3. 3

    The bot announces the start

Before the start, /activitymania shows a countdown. Nothing counts early, so everyone begins level.

When the start time arrives, the bot posts the competition in your announcement channel. The post carries the rule, the end date, the prizes for each rank and your own description, plus a button to your rules channel if you set one.

  4. 4

Members race on a live board

Any member can run /activitymania to see the standings, their own rank and their active days. Members already in a prize spot are told to hold it. Everyone else sees exactly how much more they need to reach the winners. You follow the same live standings from your dashboard.

While the race runs, you can extend the end, add winners or raise a prize. The start, the fair play settings and every prize already promised stay locked, so members always know what they are playing for.

  5. 5

The bot posts the results and pays the winners

When the window closes, the standings freeze after a short grace period, so the last messages still count. If two members finish on the same score, the spot goes to the one who was active on more days. Coin prizes land in the winners' balances and prize roles are added for them. The bot never takes a prize role back.

Then the bot posts the final results in your announcement channel and pings only the winners, each with what they won. A prize you described yourself, like Nitro, comes with a note to contact your staff.

A Few Competitions You Can Run

The same race, shaped around the moment your server is in

A launch week chat sprint

Seven days, three winners, coin prizes for the podium. A launch, a rebrand or a new channel gets a full week of conversation behind it.

A seasonal event with mixed prizes

A Halloween or holiday race where the podium wins coins plus a prize you hand out yourself, like Nitro or a game key. The results post tells each winner what they won and who to contact.

A monthly title worth keeping

Each month, the winner takes a Top Chatter role that stays with them. For a title that changes hands every day, Activity Runners covers the daily side.

A winner's role that skips giveaway tasks

Make the first place role a bypass role in your giveaways. The winner then enters every giveaway that lists that role in one click, with the maximum number of entries.

A race new members can win

After a growth push, run a short race where everyone starts at zero. New members have a fair shot at the podium from day one, and a minimum account age keeps fresh alt accounts off the board.

A Short Race Gets More Members Talking

What a race with an end date does for a server

An all-time leaderboard stops moving for anyone outside the top few. The same names sit there for months, and everyone else stops looking. A dated race that starts from zero puts the podium back in reach, so the quieter half of your server has a reason to speak up this week.

The scoring rules come from running Activity Mania on our own community server. Minigames count within a limit, coins passed between accounts count for nobody, and staff grants never score. The podium goes to the members who were most active.

And the bot does the bookkeeping. It announces the race, keeps score, pays coins, adds roles and posts the results. A promised prize can only go up while the race runs. Members who saw the last prizes arrive on time show up for the next race.
