Let Members Challenge Each Other to 15 Games for Server Coins
Members challenge each other in your Discord server to chess, Connect Four, Battleship and 12 more games, with the coins they earned on the line. The bot holds the stakes and pays the winner.
ScopliDrop is a Discord game bot with 15 games members play against each other, staking the coins they earn. One member challenges another with a slash command, like /chess or /connectfour, both put up the same stake, and the bot runs the whole game right in the channel with buttons.
The bot holds both stakes until the game ends, and the winner is paid automatically. You choose which games are on and can set a server tax on winnings, which is destroyed rather than paid to anyone. Coins are earned in your server and never bought or cashed out.
The 15 Games Members Can Play
Each one is its own slash command, played against another member
Coinflip
/coinflip · Instant round
The challenger calls heads or tails, and the opponent takes the other side. One cryptographic flip decides it, and the winner takes the pot.
Rock Paper Scissors
/rps · Instant round
Both players pick rock, paper or scissors, and the picks stay hidden until both lock in. The winner takes the pot, and the same pick on both sides is a tie that refunds both stakes.
Color Clash
/colorclash · Instant round
The challenger picks a color, the opponent picks any other, and the wheel spins straight away. Whoever matches the wheel wins three times their stake. If both miss, both stakes burn.
Three Towers
/threetowers · Instant round
Each player splits 10 soldiers across 3 towers in secret. More soldiers at a tower captures it, and capturing more towers than your opponent wins the pot. Equal captures burn it.
Tic Tac Toe
/tictactoe · Board game
A coin flip decides who plays X and moves first on the 3x3 grid. The first to line up three wins the pot, and a full grid with no line refunds both stakes.
Connect Four
/connectfour · Board game
Players take turns dropping a piece into a column, and the first to get 4 in a row wins the pot. The board comes in standard 6×7, mini 5×5 or large 8×8. A full board refunds both stakes.
Connect Five
/connectfive · Board game
The same drop rules on a 9×9 board, where it takes 5 in a row to win. A full board refunds both stakes.
Chess
/chess · Board game
Standard chess, with colors decided by a coin flip the moment the challenge is accepted. Checkmate takes the pot, and stalemate and the other drawn endings refund both stakes.
Dots & Boxes
/dotsboxes · Board game
Players take turns drawing a line between two dots. Completing the fourth side of a box claims it and earns another move, and whoever claims the most of the 9 boxes takes the pot.
Battleship
/battleship · Hidden hand
Each fleet is placed at random and can be rerolled, and neither player sees the other's ships. Players take turns firing at one square, and the first to sink every enemy ship takes the pot.
Liar's Dice
/liarsdice · Hidden hand
Each player holds hidden dice and either raises the bid on how many dice of one face sit across both hands, or calls Liar. A call reveals both hands and costs the wrong player a die. The last player with dice left takes the pot.
Bid War
/bidwar · Hidden hand
Nine prize cards worth 1 to 9 points turn up one at a time, and each round both players secretly play a bid card from 1 to 9, each usable once. The higher bid takes the prize card, and the most points after 9 rounds takes the pot. A draw burns it.
Yatzy
/yatzy · Dice, words and codes
Both players roll 5 dice in the open, keep the ones they want and reroll the rest once. Hands rank from five of a kind down to high die, and an exact tie goes to a roll-off.
Word Duel
/wordduel · Dice, words and codes
Both players race to solve the same hidden 5-letter word, with colored hints after every guess and each player's letters kept private. The first to solve it takes the pot. If neither solves it, the pot burns.
Mastermind
/mastermind · Dice, words and codes
Each player sets a secret code of 4 colors, then they take turns guessing each other's. Every guess shows how many colors are in the right spot and how many are in the wrong one, and the first to crack the code takes the pot. If neither cracks it within 10 guesses, the pot burns.
How It Works
From switching games on to the winner's payout, everything happens in your channels
- 1
Turn on the games you want
Minigames run on your server economy, so they start working once it is on. Every game has its own switch on the Minigames page of the dashboard, and all 15 start switched on.
You can lock any game to age-restricted channels, and pick a server tax on winnings: none, 5%, 10% or a rate of your own.
- 2
A member challenges someone in the channel
A member types the game's command with an opponent and a stake, for example /chess @Alex 500. The bot posts a challenge card with the stake, the tax, and two short lines on how the game works and who wins. Accept and Decline buttons sit underneath.
The challenger's coins are set aside the moment the card is posted, and the opponent's when they accept. Coins set aside for one game can't be staked on another. The opponent has 5 minutes to answer, and a decline or no answer gives the challenger their coins back.
- 3
The game plays out, and the winner is paid
The board lives in the channel and players move with buttons, so everyone watching can follow along. Chess gives each player 90 seconds per move, with resign and draw offers built in.
When the game ends, the bot pays the winner the pot minus your server tax. A draw either returns both stakes or burns the pot, depending on the game, and the challenge card says which before anyone accepts.
If the bot restarts mid-game, Connect Four, Connect Five, Mastermind, Battleship and Liar's Dice pick up where they left off, and any other game refunds both players. Winners can bid what they won in coin auctions.
- 4
Keep the games fair for newcomers
Newbie protection rates players by the games they have finished in your server. When an experienced player challenges a newcomer, the card warns the newcomer before they accept. Switch it to block and the challenge is refused instead. You set the thresholds.
Your team can ban a member from minigames, with an optional end date. For a caught cheater, the stats reset wipes their record and, for several games, returns their winnings to the members they beat.
Members check their record with /gamestats, and /leadergame ranks the top 10 players of each game.
Setups This Enables
Two ways servers put the games to work
A weekly strategy night
Keep chess, Connect Four and Battleship on, announce an evening, and post the /leadergame chess table at the end.
A giveaway that rewards your players
Add the Play Minigames task to a giveaway. Entrants need a minimum number of finished games, in any game or one you pick. Games count from the giveaway's start or over a set window. Declined, expired and drawn games never count.
Games Give Members a Reason to Earn Coins
What members can do with their coins decides whether they care about earning them
A balance that only grows stops meaning anything after a week. Minigames give members a reason to earn, and a reason to talk to each other while they spend.
Every match is public. A chess game in your general channel pulls in spectators, rematches and trash talk, which is the kind of activity a quiet server needs. And because the bot holds both stakes and pays the winner itself, a match never ends in an argument a moderator has to settle.
The tax closes the loop. Coins come in from activity, change hands in games, and a share of every win leaves the economy for good, so your auction prices and rewards keep their weight.
