Reward Every Discord Message and Voice Minute With Levels

Members earn XP for chatting and for time in voice channels. Each level they reach can post a celebration card and hand out a role or coins automatically, and the same levels can gate your Discord giveaways.

ScopliDrop is a free Discord leveling bot, and the same bot runs your giveaways. Members earn XP when they chat and spend time in voice, and at the levels you choose they receive the roles and coins you attach. Level rewards come with every plan.

The levels reach beyond the leaderboard. A giveaway can require a minimum level to enter, so prizes go to the members who show up week after week, and level rewards can pay coins into your server economy.

How It Works

From the first message to the leaderboard, in the order your members live it

  1. 1

Turn on Leveling and pick how fast members climb

Open the Leveling page in your dashboard and switch it on. Then pick a pace. Each preset sets three numbers at once: the XP a message earns, the XP a voice minute earns, and the cooldown between two messages that count.

    • Relaxed

10 XP per message, 5 per voice minute, a 90 second cooldown. Levels feel earned. Suits big, busy servers.

    • Balanced

15 XP per message, 10 per voice minute, a 60 second cooldown. The default, with steady progress for most servers.

    • Fast

25 XP per message, 15 per voice minute, a 30 second cooldown. Quick early levels for small or new servers.

Custom lets you type all three numbers yourself. Under the presets, the dashboard shows how long an active member needs to reach level 10 with your settings. On Balanced it is about 6 hours of chatting.

  2. 2

    Choose where XP counts

By default every channel counts, and you list the exceptions, like a bot commands channel or a busy meme channel. Flip it around and only the channels you pick count, which suits a server built around one main chat. Whole categories work too, and threads follow the category of their channel.

Members with an excluded role never earn XP, wherever they chat. Use it for staff you want off the leaderboard. In voice channels, time spent muted or deafened earns nothing by default, so voice XP goes to the members taking part in the conversation.

The same rules decide where members earn coins in your server economy, even while Leveling is off.

  3. 3

Members earn XP as they chat and talk

A message earns XP at most once per cooldown, however many messages the member sends in that window. Ten quick lines earn the same as one. Voice earns XP for every minute in a channel. It is credited every 30 seconds while the member is still there, so a long session counts as it happens.

XP builds levels on a fixed curve. In total, level 1 takes 155 XP, level 5 takes 1,525 and level 10 takes 5,675. Early levels come quickly, and the later ones mark your regulars.

Members check where they stand with three commands.

    • /rank

A rank card image with their server rank, level, progress bar, message count, voice time and total XP. Anyone's card can be looked up.

    • /levelinfo

How much XP, how many messages or how much voice time they still need for their next level, or for any level they name.

    • /levelrewards

Every role and coin reward attached to a level in your server, so members know what they are climbing toward.

  4. 4

Level-ups announce themselves and hand out rewards

When a member levels up, the bot posts a card with their avatar, their new level and any role that comes with it. Send every card to one level-up channel, or let it post where the member was chatting.

Each level can reward a role, coins or both. A role can stack, so members keep it as they climb, or be replaced by the next rank.

A reward you add later reaches members already past that level with one click on Sync rewards to existing members. It never pays the same level twice.

Coin rewards pay out while your server economy is on. Members then spend them in auctions and minigames.

  5. 5

    Leaderboards keep the climb visible

/leaderrank opens a leaderboard members page through ten at a time. They sort it by level, XP, messages or voice time, over all time or a recent window like this week.

/activitylookup draws a member's messages and voice time as a graph, from today hour by hour up to a month or a date range you pick.

To reward whoever is on top, activity runners hand roles and coins to your most active members automatically, and Activity Mania turns a stretch of activity into a contest with prizes.

Setups This Enables

The same levels, put to work four ways

A rank ladder that replaces itself

Bronze at level 5, Silver at 15, Gold at 30, each set to replace the one before. Every member wears a single rank, and each rank can open a channel of its own.

Giveaways for your regulars

Add the Reach an XP Level task to a giveaway and only members at level 5 or above can enter. It is checked automatically, from the website or straight from the entry button in Discord.

Veterans skip the tasks

Add your top level role to a giveaway's bypass roles. Members who reached it skip every task and enter in one click at maximum entries, a perk that comes with their level.

Milestones that pay

Attach coins to every fifth level. Members spend them in your server economy on auctions and minigames, so reaching level 20 buys them something.

Levels That Also Decide Who Can Win Your Giveaways

A level is the record of every conversation a member joined. Here it also opens doors.

A leveling system gives members a reason to come back. They watch their rank climb, they earn a role, the channel congratulates them. That loop alone keeps a server talking.

Here the levels also reach your giveaways. A level requirement reserves prizes for the members who show up week after week, because every level is earned one conversation at a time. A fresh account has to take part in your server before it can win.

It all runs on one bot. The same XP fills the leaderboard, pays level rewards and gates giveaways. You set up activity once, in one dashboard, and every feature that reads it stays in step.
